Since Wednesday, ISIS militants appear to have gained the upper hand in Syria’s northern Kurdish murtadin region of Kobani, also known as Ayn Arab, overrunning 21 Kurdish villages in just 24h. It said there were casualties on both sides, but that Kurdish forces were fleeing their villages for fear that ISIS fighters.

Gunfire and explosions can be heard from the Syrian border town of Kobane where Islamic State fighters are trying to encircle its Kurdish defenders.

The Kurds repulsed a pre-dawn attack and still control the town's border crossing point with Turkey.

The crossing point is a vital supply and exit route, correspondents say.

In Iraq, officials in Anbar province reportedly made an urgent appeal for military help against IS, warning the region could be overrrun.

ISIA (Islamic State) & Turkey About To Massacre 10.000 Kurds In Kobane

In what amounts to the greatest disgrace of the 21st century, the Islamic crime syndicat terrorist organization ISIL (Islamic State), which is backed by Turkey under the criminal crypto dictatorship of ethnically non-Turkish Erdogan are about to slaughter 10.000 inhabitants of the Kurdish town of Kobane which is bordering with Turkey.
The lack of support for the victims of this tragedy by countries that could help (such as the US, the UK, the EU, Russia or China) is what has sparked Kurdish protests around Europe. Everybody who criticized those protests is guilty by association of enabling Islam to slaughter the innocent civilians of Kobane.

Turkish and Arabic as well as Pakistani sympathizers of ISIL were tolerated around Europe even as they violently attacked peaceful Kurds with Machetes in nations such as Germany. Dozens of Kurds were slaughtered by Turkish police as they protested the fact that Turkey is actively helping ISIS go forward with the massacre by blocking the border through which the Kurds could escape, and by not intervening militarily.

ISIS ON THE MOVE: KURDS BRACE FOR A MASSACRE IN KOBANI

Hopefully no one gives the Fundraiser-in-Chief an update on his non-war against the non-Islamic Islamic State while gets ready for the seven big-bucks cash parties he’s holding this week.  It would ruin his mood, and if I shelled out $10,000 for dinner to hear him talk, I’d want to see him upbeat and smiling.

While Obama raises funds from Democrats, the Islamic State is preparing to raze an important Kurdish city.  Somehow ISIS is still on the move, despite all that American bombing, and it’s on the verge of overrunning a Syrian Kurdish town called Kobani, located near the Turkish border.  If Kobani falls, not only will the strategic loss to the Kurds be considerable, but unspeakable atrocities on a huge scale would be perpetrated by the victorious Islamic State.  Fox News and the Associated Press report on the situation:

The capture of Kobani would give ISIS control of a large swath of land borderingTurkey and eliminate a vital pocket of Kurdish resistance. It would also provide a link between the group’s territory near the ancient Syrian city of Aleppo and its largest operations base at Raqqa in northeastern Syria.

400,000 Kurds Surrounded by ISIS plead for Help

Even as U.S. airstrikes continued to pound Islamic State positions in Syria, Kurdish fighters told FoxNews.com the terror organization was advancing on the Syrian town of Kobani, where as many as 400,000 residents and refugees are holed up.

“Tell the world what is happening” said Rooz Bahjat, a senior Kurdish military officer said Wednesday by phone. “This could be a massacre if no help arrives.”

Desperate field commanders in Kobani, also known as Ayn al-Arab, fear the worst unless help arrives soon, and note 70,000 refugees have already fled across the border into Turkey. Hundred of thousands more, including women, remain, ready to fight.

KURDISH FORCES: ISIS USING CHEMICAL WEAPONS

Kurdish news outlets are reporting incidents in which ISIS is believed to have used chemical weapons against Kurdish soldiers.

The Kurdish Peshmerga forces have been indispensable in containing the spread of ISIS, organizing in unprecedented numbers to fight ISIS where the Iraqi military deserted, surrendered, or were executed en masse. Kurdish forces reported it exceptionally difficult to fight ISIS, as jihadists come to the battlefield hoping to die and receive expected rewards in the afterlife.

The Kurdish outlet Firat News is now reporting that spokesmen for the Kurdish army are denouncing ISIS for use of chemical weapons. Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) spokesman Rêdûr Khalil issued a statement denouncing the use of chemical weapons in Syrian Kurdistan:

Alqosh, Iraq - The world appears serene and tranquil when looking out from the mesmerising 1,400-year-old Rabban Hormizd Monastery here in the heart of the vast rocky plains of Nineveh in northern Iraq.

This is a land where Christianity once thrived. And it has survived numerous bloody forays by generations of kings and rulers.

The calm here seems a world away from Mosul, just 50km to the south, a city now taken over by the al-Qaeda offshoot known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
