The South African Jewish Board of Deputies, the umbrella organization that leads that country's Jewish community, has announced that it is filing charges at the South African Human Rights Commission against trade union leader Tony Ehrenreich for an anti-Israel Facebook post that called for attacks against Jews in retaliation for the death of Palestinians in Gaza--"an Eye for an Eye against Zionist aggression," in his words.

Ehrenreich, who leads the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) in the Western Cape province, and who is also a local leader of the country's ruling party, the African National Congress (ANC), had called for attacks against Jews "everywhere" in apost on his personal Facebook page Wednesday. Reached by Breitbart News, Ehrenreichsaid that he wanted to "imprison" local Jewish leaders "and charge them with war crimes."

The union leader apparently believes that Jewish leaders are "complicit in the murder of the people in Gaza" through their "funding of the Isreali Army" [sic] and "getting SA youth to join the killings in Gaza." The Board of Deputies called both claims "baseless,"according to South African news website News24, and alleges that Ehrenreich has engaged in "flagrant" hate speech and incitement, both of which are constitutionally

SOUTH AFRICAN UNION LEADER CALLS FOR ATTACKS ON JEWS 'EVERYWHERE'

 leader of South Africa's most powerful trade union has called for attacks on Jews in response to the war in Gaza. 

In a posting on his personal Facebook page Wednesday, Tony Ehrenreich, the leader of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) in the Western Cape province, called for "an Eye for an Eye against Zionist aggression" and warned that "if a woman or child is killed in Gaza," then Jews who support Israel must face an equivalent fate.

Breitbart News reached Ehrenreich via his cell phone--which is publicly available--and he confirmed that the Facebook posting was his own.

It didn’t take long for Hamas to make a mockery of President Obama’s efforts to get a ceasefire in Gaza. The rulers of Gaza are nothing if not consistent. In genocidal word and terrorist deed, Hamas has one goal—the eradication of the Jewish State and its 8 million citizens. To that end, it has gone beyond kidnapping and murder, suicide bombing and missiles and rockets. Gaza’s democratically-elected government has rewarded its constituent’s trust by making them human shields and cannon fodder for its martyrdom on-demand campaign for 24-hour news cycle feeds and social networking platforms.

Thus far Hamas’ murderous gameplan, has been largely thwarted by Israel’s Iron Dome, her people’s iron will, and the IDF’s warnings via cellphone, text and leaflets in advance of attacks to minimize civilian casualties.

French Jews face unprecedented wave of anti-Semitic attacks

In the wake of a raid on an Islamic terror cell, French police warn that more attacks on Jews are yet to come.

French police who raided an Islamic terror cell over the weekend found documents showing the ring was planning new attacks against the Jewish community: 27,000 euros in cash, a list of Jewish organizations in the Paris area, ammunition, Islamist manuals and "extremely" anti-Semitic documents.

Following the raid on the cell believed responsible for a recent grenade attack on a kosher supermarket in a Parisian suburb, police protection was increased for synagogues, Jewish schools and other Jewish institutions. At a meeting with Jewish community leaders, President Francois Hollande promised to give top priority to the evidently growing threat against Jewish targets by Islamic militants. In the raid, police killed the group's leader, Jeremie Louis-Sidney, a 33-year- old Salafist neophyte, and arrested a dozen members. But authorities say that even after the raid, there are still several similar anti-Semitic cells across the country. According to a former head of French Intelligence Services, between 100 and 200 extreme Islamic militants are potential terrorists

IDF Launches Ground Operation against Hamas

We may hope that Israel finishes the job this time, by destroying the jihadis’ ability to strike at Israeli civilians. We may hope that the UN and the Obama administration don’t bring so much pressure on Israel that she is forced to end this operation prematurely. Pray for Israel.

Note also this: “Egypt, meanwhile, has issued a statement saying that Hamas is to blame for the possible deaths of hundreds of Gazan civilians. The statement appears to have purposely been issued simultaneously with the statement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office.” Even Egypt can’t stomach Hamas’s bloody jihadist inhumanity. Islamic jihadists killed Anwar Sadat — jihad is not just Israel’s problem, and the world better start getting it right, because all non-Sharia governments and free people are in the cross hairs.

Speaking to Arab clerics in their own language, rabbis of the Derech Emunah (“Way of Faith”) 

organization on Wednesday dispatched a letter in Arabic to about 50 Muslim clerics, heads of mosques and universities in major Arab towns and villages.

"As Islamic leaders, you know that you have much influence over your followers. Everyone has heard about the incitement that takes place in mosques on Fridays. Those who preach this incitement are directly responsible for the murders of Israelis," declared the letter.

“But those who do not mend their ways and continue to seek our destruction must realize that G-d will take His revenge against them. The first ones to be judged will be the religious leaders and educators who should have known better,” the letter added. “Not only will G-d take revenge on you, but so will His agent, the IDF, which will continue to operate in Judea and Samaria. We call on you, in the name of G-d, to repent – stop the incitement, turn away from evil.”

Israeli officials called Sunday for Israel to undertake a large operation against the Gaza Strip following a weekend salvo of rockets that destroyed a Sderot paint factory

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman, speaking to a slew of media outlets Sunday morning, said the Israeli military should consider re-taking full control of the Gaza Strip.

There was a humane demonstration in Paris in support of the three Jewish boys who were kidnapped last week by jihad savages. Muslims, of course, attacked the Jews. It’s indicative of just how horrible it really is in Europe — that it is an act of real courage to attend a rally in support of kidnapped Jewish children.

Hatred of Jews is deeply ingrained in the Qur’an, which calls Jews “the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers” (5:82), and says that they “have been put under humiliation wherever they are overtaken, except for a covenant from Allah and a rope from the Muslims. And they have drawn upon themselves anger from Allah and have been put under destitution. That is because they disbelieved in the verses of Allah and killed the prophets without right.

 That is because they disobeyed and transgressed.” (3:110) It says that Allah transformed the disobedient Jews into apes and pigs (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166). It says that they say Ezra is Allah’s son, and are consequently accursed (9:30). And there are many other passages heaping contempt and scorn upon them. Violence against innocent people, as in this case, is the result.
