FEDERAL APPEALS COURT UPHOLDS GOD'S LAW

CINCINNATI (AP) — A federal appeals court on Thursday upheld anti-gay marriage laws in four states, breaking ranks with other courts that have considered the issue and setting up the prospect of Supreme Court review.

The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel that heard arguments on gay marriage bans or restrictions in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Tennessee on Aug. 6 split 2-1, with Circuit Judge Jeffrey Sutton writing the majority opinion. The ruling creates a divide among federal appeals courts, increasing the likelihood the Supreme Court will now take up the issue.

The ruling concluded that states have the right to set rules for marriage.

It followed more than 20 court victories for supporters of same-sex marriage since the U.S. Supreme Court struck down part of the federal Defense of Marriage Act last year. A federal judge in Louisiana recently upheld that state's ban, but four U.S. appeals courts ruled against state bans.

The issue appears likely to return to the Supreme Court so the nation's highest court can settle whether states can ban gay marriage or that gay and lesbian couples have a fundamental right to marry under the U.S. Constitution. Thirty-two states recently asked the Supreme Court to settle the issue once and for all.

Homosexuals are a Protected Class

It is terrifying how calmly Judge Tim Garcia of the New Mexico Court of Appeals uttered these words.

With one sentence, he set a legal precedent that will be used to strip Americans of their constitutionally protected religious freedoms across this nation.

He ruled that a Christian photography company did not have the right to refuse to photograph a homosexual “wedding” ceremony.

It didn’t matter that New Mexico legally defines marriage as one man and one woman, and that the homosexual “wedding” was outside the law.

And it didn’t matter that Jonathan and Elaine Hugeunin are both devout Christians who find homosexual “marriage” to be unnatural and offensive.

Their religious freedoms did not matter because:

“Homosexuals are a protected class.”

And according to the courts, when they refused to give their blessing to an illegal and immoral ceremony, Jonathan and Elaine committed a "Hate Crime."

This is exactly the threat Public Advocate has been warning Americans about for decades.

The courts and the government have created a second standard by which the actions of homosexuals -- and the actions of mainstream Americans towards homosexuals -- are judged.

The owners of Elane Photography did not hurt anyone.  Or damage anything.

They committed no crime.

They just said “No.”

But the courts have ruled that homosexual “rights” are more important than religious freedoms.

The judge actually said that homosexuals are entitled to greater protections than small children!

At the heart of this ruling is the Thought Control Bill Obama signed into law his first year in office; a bill Public Advocate fought tooth-and-nail to stop.

It states that any unfavorable act against a homosexual is a "hate crime."

And it is just the start.

If the Gay Bill of Special Rights is ever passed, homosexuals will become the true super-power in America.

I am proud to say that I have led Public Advocate against the Gay Bill of Special Rights more times than I can remember.

The radical Homosexual Lobby has been trying to pass it for decades, but you and I have stopped them every time.

HOUSTON, Texas--Breitbart Texas has learned that many of the illegal immigrants who continue to flood the U.S.-Mexico border are never medically screened before being housed in taxpayer subsidized shelters. 

Ramiro Cordero--a Border Patrol spokesman in El Paso, Texas--told Breitbart Texas that instead of administering thorough medical checks, "we ask a series of verbal questions. We talk to the people to determine if we need to take them for further medical care."

He added, "We're not medical providers."

Hundreds of children found at vermin-infested shelter in Mexico

(CNN) -- Mexican authorities are still unraveling the horrors allegedly committed on nearly 500 children sheltered at "La Gran Familia" refuge in the western state of Michoacan.

At The Big Family shelter, scores of children -- some as young as two months old -- were denied visits from their parents, virtually imprisoned in vermin-infested quarters and routinely subjected to physical, psychological and sexual abuse, authorities said.

Authorities raided the sprawling, squalid shelter in the city of Zamora Tuesday after a number of parents complained about being denied access to their children, Mexican Attorney General Jesus Murillo Karan told reporters.

POPE FRANCIS CALLS ON U.S. TO WELCOME ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

In his message to the “Mexico/Holy See Colloquium on Migration and Development,” Pope Francis characterized the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that have crossed the U.S. southern border as a product of globalization, suggesting that the phenomenon is happening worldwide.

Francis proclaimed, “Despite the large influx of migrants present in all continents and in almost all countries, migration is still seen as an emergency, or as a circumstantial and sporadic fact, while instead it has now become a hallmark of our society and a challenge.”

Emmer McCarthy for Vatican Radio said Francis expressed his concern for “the tens of thousands of children who migrate alone, unaccompanied, to escape poverty and violence.” He further sympathized, saying that “this is a category of migrants… who cross the border with the United States under extreme conditions and in pursuit of a hope that in most cases turns out to be vain." The Pope added that the amount of those willing to take the dangerous journey “are increasing day by day."

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans.  The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b)increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security.

The chaos in Texas shows they won’t.  Faced with a clear hole in the border — with a wave of tens of thousands of undocumented Central Americans crossing into the U.S. in order to get in line for hearings years from now, which they likely won’t attend while they continue to live here – pro-reform activists have scrambled, not to show their border security bona fides, but to generate arguments and outbursts designed to let the new wave stay.  As CBS‘s Major Garrett reported, when President Obama, met with activists at the White House, he proposed that he make it clear that new migrants who don’t qualify for humanitarian relief won’t get in. The activists would have none of it:

European-Americans are being intentionally replaced by a more malleable Third World population

Unlike ethnic cleansing, which is carried out by foreign armies during war, Savage says ethnic replacement is the tactic used by the Democrats and their leftist supervisors to replace the current European-American majority with a "more malleable Third World population." While ethnic replacement is occurring in America, where are all the loudmouths? Where are the usual enforcers of immorality? I don't hear any objection to this increase in our population from groups like the anti-population growth groups or pro-choice people. Alien Children Program Cost $263 Million Already This Year

The federal program for Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC)—which provides long-term foster care, apparel, and interpreter services for thousands of young illegal immigrants, the majority of which are placed in the United States—has already cost $263 million this year.

The recent surge in underage illegal immigrants crossing the southern border has prompted President Barack Obama to ask for $3.7 billion in additional funding, $1.8 billion of which would go to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which administers the UAC program.

Feds: Pastors not welcome at immigration camps

Pastors and churches have been banned from helping the thousands of illegal immigrant children housed in border detention facilities run by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, clergy in Texas and Arizona tell me.

“Border Patrol told us pastors and churches are not allowed to visit,” said Kyle Coffin, the pastor of CrossRoads Church in Tucson, Arizona. “It’s pretty heartbreaking that they don’t let anybody in there -- even credentialed pastors.”

Pastor Coffin even asked if they could provide the children with toys, blankets and food. But the federal government’s response was the same – no donations allowed.

Remember the FENCE? Immigration crisis spurs renewed calls for border barrier

The surge of tens of thousands of illegal immigrant children from Central America into Texas has revived calls for a border security measure long mocked by Democrats but touted by Republicans as a commonsense solution: A big, long fence. 

Those calls became even louder after President Obama submitted a $3.7 billion emergency funding request to address the immigration crisis that did not include much in the way of border security. The package was focused mostly on covering detention and transportation costs, deportations, health care and immigration judges and lawyers. 

Bridenstine is pushing for the enforcement of The Secure Fence Act of 2006. The law, signed by then-President George W. Bush, authorized hundreds of miles of fence construction along the southern border, in addition to more checkpoints, cameras, vehicle barriers and lighting to catch people.

President Barack Obama is asking Congress to provide free lawyers to the illegal immigrants surging across the U.S. border from Central America.

The request for $18 million of free legal services, which White House officials describe as an emergency, is included in White House request to Congress for $3.7 billion.

Most of those funds are needed to process, care for and feed the growing flow of immigrants, which is already at 100,000 since last October, says the administration.

If the GOP funds the request for lawyers, they will help many of the illegals win green cards, which will allow them permanent access to the nation’s generous social and welfare programs, including Obamacare.

Todd Starnes told Sean Hannity on FOX News tonight that the illegal immigrant children held at Lackland Air Force base in Oklahoma are bringing diseases into America. The children have tuberculosis, scabies and lice so bad you can see them running down their faces.

“It’s one giant emergency room. They tell me tuberculosis has become a very dangerous issue there. Nurses say the number of children representing symptoms of tuberculosis is ‘simply staggering.’ Spitting up blood, chest pains, constant coughing. There are at least three confirmed cases for the illegals in Austin, Texas… The federal government is covering up the threat of the health crisis. They say the kids have scabies. They also say they have chicken pox. And lice so severe they can be seen crawling down the faces of the children.“

Immigration crisis: TB spreading at camps

Are the thousands of illegal immigrant kids housed in detention facilities happy and well fed -- or are they living in disease-infested compounds shrouded in secrecy?

Well, it depends on who you ask.

My source said there are children showing classic tuberculosis symptoms -- spitting up blood, a constant cough and chest pain.

More than 7,000 children have been processed through the two camps, according to a BCFS official. They allege that only 119 children have been treated for lice, 22 for scabies, and one for the H1N1 Flu. BCFS says the most common illnesses seen at Lackland are fever, headache, upper respiratory cold and ingrown toenails.

Forty cases of scabies — an infectious skin disease caused by a parasite — have been confirmed in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s San Diego Sector, National Review Online reports.

According to these reports, immigrants are required to get clearance after a medical screening and before moving on in the importation process. But some of the illegals are still arriving to the facilities via public transportation with diseases. Federal Emergency Management Agency personnel are supposed to head up the screening process, but reports show that they’re either missing or ignoring the signs. (RELATED: Medical Staffers Threatened With Arrest For Divulging Information On Illegals’ Medical Conditions)

“Management’s more concerned about processing and getting rid of them as quickly as possible than looking at decontamination,” a border patrol agent told the National Review Online. “And [the released illegal immigrants] go out in the community, get on the public transportation, go where they need to go, and it could result in another infestation of scabies being spread everywhere.”
