Cuban migrants head off from Caymans, bound for Honduras Reuters

GEORGE TOWN Cayman Islands (Reuters) - A group of 15 Cuban migrants waved to onlookers as they set sail from Grand Cayman aboard a 14-foot homemade boat on Friday after a brief overnight stop, hoping to make the risky 400-mile journey across the Caribbean to the north coast of Honduras.
The boat, made from metal and fiberglass with inner tubes attached to wooden outriggers, was carrying five woman and 10 men and set off last week from Manzanillo, in eastern Cuba. Three other passengers abandoned the journey and turned themselves over to Cayman authorities for repatriation to Cuba.
Cubans seeking to flee the communist-run island are heading in increasing numbers by sea to Central America and then making a long journey overland to reach the United States.
One group of 32 Cuban migrants drifted for three weeks without food or water this summer after their engine failed. Only 15 were found alive when they were rescued by Mexican fishermen.

Asserting a legal and constitutional authority he himself said he did not have, President Obama is going rogue, issuing an executive amnesty to 4 to 5 million illegal aliens.
He will order the U.S. government not to enforce the law against these 5 million and declare that they are to be exempt from deportation and granted green cards.
Where did Obama get his 4-5 million figure, not 2-4 million, or 5-7 million? Nowhere in law, but plucked out of his own mind, as to what he can get away with. Barack Obama just felt it was about right.
Thus does our constitutional law professor-president “faithfully execute” the laws of the United States he has twice swore to uphold?
Our rogue president has crossed an historic line, and so has the republic. Future presidents will cite the “Obama precedent” when they declare they will henceforth not enforce this or that law, because of a prior commitment to some noisy constituency.
We have just taken a monumental step away from republicanism toward Caesarism. For this is rule by diktat, the rejection of which sparked the American Revolution.

BIG: SHERIFFS AGAINST AMNESTY TO MARCH ON WASHINGTON

Sheriffs around the country are planning to march on the nation’s capital, hoping to send a message to President Obama and Congress that they oppose amnesty for illegal immigrants.
The Dec. 10 rally in Washington, D.C., is being organized by two sheriffs from Massachusetts – Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson and Plymouth County Sheriff Joseph McDonald.
They have challenged America’s other sheriffs, asking for at least 200 of them to join in paying a visit to the Capitol to make a stand against amnesty and plead for Congress and the president to secure the border. More than 20 have already signed up to participate, Hodgson told WND.
The march will culminate in a meeting with Republican leaders at the Capitol building regarding possible legislation to secure the border “once and for all.”
Hodgson has sent a letter to sheriffs nationwide asking them to join him in the rally.
He told WND he’s already heard from 20 to 25 sheriffs who have committed to join him on the trip to Washington. The letter states in part:
“As you know, the policies of recent years that encourage immigrants to illegally enter our country have created serious threats to our domestic and national security. The citizens of our nation are counting on the American Sheriffs to fulfill our oath to preserve law and order and live up to our responsibilities as guardians of the United States Constitution.

Illegals Flood Law Offices with calls #TCOT #PJNET
SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — Immigrants in the country illegally already are flooding attorneys' offices with calls to see if they can qualify under President Barack Obama's yet-to-be-announced plan to shield as many as 5 million immigrants from deportation.
Obama said he'll reveal the long-awaited order on Thursday. Alex Galvez, an immigration lawyer in Los Angeles, said he's going to need to add phone lines to keep up with the demand. Orange County, California-based immigration lawyer Annaluisa Padilla said she's getting twice as many calls as usual since buzz intensified over the plan, which would also grant the immigrants work permits.
"It's like the golden ticket," she said. "Everybody who is calling my office is asking how can I get a work permit under Obama's program? I am like, there is no Obama program yet.".

There’s a simple way to stop President Obama from using executive orders to advance his radical agenda, and it’s not wielding “the power of the purse,” as the Republican congressional leadership contends.
The issue is on the front-burner as Obama – expressing frustration with the lack of legislative movement on “immigration reform” – has defiantly vowed to issue an executive order that would allow up to 5 million illegal aliens avoid deportation.
Savage argues Republican have threatened to use the “power of the purse” before, and Obama has moved right ahead. The president issued, for example, an executive order in 2012 that effectively implemented his DREAM Act plan allowing young illegal aliens to remain in the U.S. indefinitely.
Savage told his listeners the new Republican-majority Congress has a weapon at its disposal, if it only is willing to deploy it.
“If the executive order is based on a statute, Congress can change the statute, thereby nullifying the order,” Savage said.

Rand Paul - Take BO to Court over Illegal Shamnesty #TCOT #PJNET
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) argued that a lawsuit "may be the only recourse" to overturn an executive order by President Obama on immigration on Monday's "Hannity" on the Fox News Channel.
"There's a famous Supreme Court case, Youngstown Steel, where the Supreme Court actually overturned an executive order and said that the president cannot expressly do something that Congress is telling them not to do. I think with regard to immigration reform he's doing something that Congress has not instructed him to do, and in fact has instructed him otherwise. So, I think the Supreme Court would strike it down, that takes a while, but that may be the only recourse short of a new president" he stated.
Paul also laid out the fiscal options to stop executive amnesty, saying "what I've been proposing is that we take the appropriations process, not a continuing resolution or an omnibus bill...we can get rid of waste, we can reign in Obamacare, we can reign in executive orders on immigration through the immigration process, I mean through the appropriation process."

AZ SHERIFF: FEDS REFUSE TO GIVE US NAMES OF RELEASED CRIMINAL ALIENS
Pinal County, AZ Sheriff Paul Babeu reported that that federal government “refuses” to give him the names of illegal aliens who commit crimes in the US and are released on Wednesday’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on the Fox News Channel.
Babeu said that “law enforcement in many cases have let these criminals go even when there's an outstanding hold or a warrant for them from immigration [officials].” And “what we've had happened right here in my county, there were hundreds of convicted criminals that were released right here. There are thousands including California, Georgia, and Texas, and to this day the federal government refuses to tell us their names…there’s no consequences for all of these criminals. They're back out on the street and the federal government will refuse to give us these names because they know we can then connect thousands of these criminals who the federal government once held in custody and then released them.”

Obama won't Arm US Border Patrol - VIDEO

The News 4 Tucson Investigators have uncovered that some U.S. Border Patrol agents have lost a key part of their arsenal. And that has agents who patrol along the border here, extremely worried.
We learned that U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Offices of Border Patrol and Training and Development are inspecting the quality of agents’ M4 carbines throughout Border Patrol sectors nationwide. But agents tell us, some of those M4s have not been replaced. And, we’ve learned, agents are required to share rifles amongst each other. [...]
The M4 carbine is used by the U.S. military and by Border Patrol agents. It’s even used by the Border Patrol’s tactical unit, BORTAC. Agent Brian Terry was carrying the M4 when he was shot and killed in December 2010.
Del Cueto tells us that because some of those M4s have not been replaced, agents are pooling their weapons, which makes it difficult to personalize the settings on a rifle, such as the sights. [...]
He said agents stand the risk of being over-powered on the border. [...]
Prather believes removing some of the rifles maybe politically motivated. He says he was told that many of these guns are being removed for issues that are easily repaired like the firing pin and bolt.
He broke down a M4 as he spoke.
“This weapon is designed to be able to be in a battle situation, changed out rather quickly even so fast that modern weapons have areas to hold spare bolts,” he said.
That makes him suspicious that the agency could be disarming its agents.
For now, union president Del Cueto says agents just want their rifles back.
“I hope they replace these weapons as soon as possible or give us some kind of answer as to how they plan on replacing them,” he said.

As President Obama continues to double down on his plans to inappropriately use his executive authority to rewrite immigration law, Sheriffs around the country have had enough and are planning to make their voices heard with a march on Washington D.C. in December.
The march is being organized by Massachusetts Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson, not border sheriffs as people might expect.
"Sheriffs across the country have reached a point where we're tired of being marginalized for protecting the citizens of our communities by a president who's saying 'look, I don't respect the immigration laws, I think people ought to be able to come here in violation of the laws' and expecting law enforcement to look the other way. This just can't be," Hodgson said in an interview with Fox News' Greta Van Susteren last night. "I think everyone in this country understands, legal residents as well as American citizens, that democracy exists only because we have a framework of laws."
