La Raza ("The Race") President and CEO Janet Murguia said it sickened her to hear Americans against illegal immigration chanting "USA! USA!" at protests around the country. 

Singling out the Murrieta demonstrators during her keynote address at La Raza's annual conference in Los Angeles on Monday, Murguia accused them of having "cloaked their hatred in patriotism" by shouting "'USA! USA!' again and again." 

"It made me angry," she said. "In fact, I was outraged."

The Obama administration has awarded a $50 million contract to a charitable group to buy a Texas resort hotel and transform it in to a 600 bed facility for juvenile illegal aliens.

The beautiful Palm Aire resort and hotel has an indoor Olympic sized pool and an outdoor pool.  Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included in the simply decorated guest rooms.

The Palm Aire Hotel and Suites is set to be sold to Baptist Child & Family Services (BCFS) operating under a federal contract, pending local government approval, according to reports from Weslaco, Texas where the hotel is located. Weslaco is a few miles north of the Rio Grande in Hidalgo County.

The resort hotel for illegal alien children is reportedly the ‘first in the nation’.

The Palm Aire includes tennis courts, a laundromat and a snack bar.

WASHINGTON – President Obama said he won’t go to the border because he doesn’t want to do a “photo-op.”

But a Texas congressman who just returned from the U.S. border with Mexico said the right presidential photo-op could actually solve the humanitarian crisis there, and stop the flood of illegal immigrants crossing into the country.

The numbers are astounding.

The New York Times reports an estimated 290,000 illegal immigrants, including 52,000 unaccompanied children, have crossed the border illegally in the Rio Grande Valley to cities around the county, just in recent months.

Border Crisis Is Spiking Asylum Claims To 40,000 By Fall

The number of border-crossing juveniles who file legal claims for asylum is likely to exceed 40,000 by October, and is roughly six times the level seen in 2010.

The spike is caused by the growing wave of unskilled Central American migrants who are crossing into Texas on the belief that President Barack Obama’s policies will allow them to settle in the United States.

The number of juveniles seeking residency rose from 7,162 in 2010, to 11,411 in 2012, and 21,351 in 2013, according to the federal data cited by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University.

During the first six months of 2014, the data shows that 19,671 juveniles asked for residency. If that six-month upward trend continues, more than 40,000 juveniles will file for green cards by October 2014.

CNN on the Border Crisis: ‘You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet’

A columnist for CNN says that when it comes to the influx of unaccompanied alien children at America’s southern border, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.”

“We should stop looking for an endpoint. This story has no end in sight,” writesRuben Navarrette at CNN.com. “We will be dealing with this crisis not for weeks or months but probably for years.” Navarette explains that it’s foolish for U.S. officials to believe that any one plan of attack will solve the problem and this crisis has no simple solution or finish line.

As for the first group of illegal immigrants deported back to Honduras, he says not to expect them to even bother unpacking. “They will soon return to the United States,” he writes.

Unlike ethnic cleansing, which is carried out by foreign armies during war, Savage says ethnic replacement is the tactic used by the Democrats and their leftist supervisors to replace the current European-American majority with a "more malleable Third World population." While ethnic replacement is occurring in America, where are all the loudmouths? Where are the usual enforcers of immorality? I don't hear any objection to this increase in our population from groups like the anti-population growth groups or pro-choice people. Where did all the high priestesses of birth control suddenly go while America is being smothered by the hoards being ushered in from Central America by Obama and Pelosi? The answer is that these groups always intended to reduce the white population and replace it with a more malleable, Third World population. Obama is orchestrating a Malthusian war against the more dominant European-American population. Border agents know this. They're saying that gangs are using processing centers as recruitment hubs. The TSA is letting these illegals on planes without ID while you're being frisked by some guard making $9 an hour. Why are the churches still able to hang onto their non-profit status while they are violating the principle separation of church and state by siding with this administration? Health authorities at a Navy base in Southern California took steps last weekend to curtail an outbreak of pneumonia and swine flu among illegal immigrant children housed at the facility, according to U.S. officials.

The outbreak of disease among several of the nearly 600 immigrant children at the Naval Base Ventura County, located north of Los Angeles, initially was thought to be caused by deadly bacterial streptococcal meningitis, according to one official close to the issue.

Illegal Immigration Raises New Concerns About Disease in America -

Speaking to Fox host Martha MacCallum on Monday, the VP of the Border Patrol Union said that one of the biggest problems surrounding the crisis at the border has to do with diseases crossing into the country. Already, Chris Cabrea says, many of our men protecting the border have contracted diseases such as bacterial pneumonia, scabies, and lice.

“Coming off the long journey,” Cabrea said, “[the illegals] have been subjected to diseases some agents are contracting. The border control is playing catch up.”

With illegal immigrant children crossing into the country with active scabies, it poses a threat not just to the agents working that swath of land but also to the rest of the country. If precautions aren’t taken, the union says, mite-borne scabies could spread into the surrounding communities.

Endless wave of illegals flood Rio Grande valley

FALFURRIAS, Texas—A sign at the entrance to the Falfurrias Checkpoint of the U.S. Border Patrol proudly states the capture of 27,206 illegal aliens this year. It is interesting to note, the Falfurrias Checkpoint is located in Brooks County, Texas which is not a border county.

This checkpoint is located about eighty miles from the Texas/Mexico border and yet Border Patrol agents managed to apprehend well over 27,000 immigrants who have entered the country illegally. That represents nearly one hundred fifty people every single day this year.

This checkpoint puts a severe financial strain on the officials of Brooks County, Texas who must deal with the budgetary impact of extra services the county must provide as a direct result of checkpoint and related border patrol activities. Because Brooks County is not designated as a “border county” they are not eligible for federal and state grants and other funding that is otherwise available to counties actually located on the border.

With thousands of illegal immigrant minors continuing to pour over America’s southern border, the same politicians are singing the same songs: we can’t close the border, we must pursue comprehensiveimmigration reform, we can only reach political consensus if we compromise on border enforcement. It’s all nonsense. As I’ve explained in this space, we could easily close the border if we had the political will to do so.

The lack of political will springs from a fundamental misunderstanding of the risks of mass illegal immigration – to immigrants, both legal and illegal, and to American citizens. Here, then, are the top reasons to close the border, and to close it forthwith:

Disease. America is now coping with diseases it believed it had eradicated, at least in part thanks to unrestricted immigration. In early June, ABC 15 in Arizona reported, “US Border Patrol agents are worried that what’s coming over into the US could harm everyone… Agents are worried about a viral outbreak.” According to Border Patrol Agent and Rio Grande Valley Union representative Chris Cabrera, agents are experiencing contagious outbreaks – and so-called quarantine areas are nothing of the sort, often separated from the general population by mere caution tape. “There’s been an outbreak of scabies that’s been going on for the past month,” Cabrera said. And it’s not just scabies, it’s chicken pox, MRSA, staph infections. The Department of Homeland Security will not allow media to speak with doctors and medical staff treating illegal immigrants. A health official told The Blaze, “There is really no hard stop at the border, and we have no idea health-wise what diseases are coming across.”

President Obama is holding off on seeking legal changes to speed up the deportation process for illegal immigrant children, but is seeking more money than initially expected from Congress to deal with the crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border. 

The president sent a massive $3.7 billion request seeking funds for everything from transportation costs to border enforcement to surveillance to health services.

At the same time, the administration is said to be moving on a separate track to seek expedited deportations. The administration insists it still plans to seek that authority and officials stressed on Tuesday that those crossing illegally cannot expect to stay in the U.S.

Murrieta has seen unrest since Friday as anti-illegal immigration activists clash with pro-amnesty protesters over the arrival of illegal immigrants, mainly children, from Central America.

As we reported earlier, those arrested for instigating violence against both anti-illegal immigration activists and police on July 4 were all pro-amnesty agitators who described themselves as “anarchist-communist.”

Despite the fact that the unrest was caused by pro-illegal groups, the federal riot police now arriving in the town have been sent ostensibly to deal with anti-immigration demonstrators

PATRIOTS DIVERT 3RD ROUND OF BUSES FROM MURRIETA

MURRIETA -- Demonstrators opposed to illegal immigration stood their ground again at the Murrieta Border Patrol station on Monday, where U.S. Border Patrol had been scheduled to transfer a third round of buses, with approximately 140 illegal aliens aboard in total, transferred from overcrowded Texas detention facilities.

For a third time, the buses were rerouted to the San Ysidro, California Border Patrol station, near the U.S.-Mexico border, for processing. The demonstrators gathered in areas to the north and south of the Murrieta station after law enforcement blocked off the road near the station itself. Many told Breitbart News they considered their stand a success, since buses scheduled for Murrieta are avoiding it as long as demonstrators remain.
