Ebola Response Not Racism or Fear Mongering - it's COMMON SENSE!

Dear Dems, Proggies, and others of you ilk,

The Writer can speak with authority regarding Diseases like Ebola.  Though not as deadly, Salmonela hit Chicago in 1985. I was a victim.  The Fever almost KILLED ME.

Salmonella attacks the Intestines and diarrhea and a high fever result. I had a 103% fever for three days and was hospitalized for five.  The shits were non-stop for that same period.

When Americans warn about the DANGERS Of Ebola, we are acting as GOOD CITIZENS. We are doing what WE ALWAYS HAVE - Keeping American Safe FOR AMERICANS.

America provides MORE FOREIGN AID than ANY NATION ON EARTH - this  appies to MEDICAL AID AS WELL.

When we WARN about Ebola we are KEEPING EACH OTHER ALIVE - in the same way we WARN Each other about certain neighborhoods that are RIDDEN WITH GANGS, GUNS and DRUGS.

Despite your SILLY CHARGES this is NOT RACISM - it's called 

COMMON SENSE!!!

We DO NOT WANT EBOLA HERE and WE DO NOT WANT TRAVEL to AND FROM INECTED COUNTRIES.

WHO reports that the FIGHT AGAINST EBOLA IS BEING LOST IN AFRICA -  So what?

It's not OUR FIGHT - they've got plenty of medicine men already, let them worry about it.  Let them lose the battle with EBOLA:

Visas: The Ebola Elephant in the Room

While CNN books guests to discuss the minutia of whether latex, nitrile rubber or vinyl and neoprene gloves are best when treating Ebola patients (Erin Burnett October 13) the broader issue of whether West African travel visas should be stopped is dismissed as a pure hypothetical extreme.  And while CDC Director Thomas Frieden suggests that he needs to “rethink Ebola protocol” he refuses to consider travel restrictions, despite a new Washington Post-ABC News poll showing 67% of the public support such a ban.

In addition to the American public — usually leading the common sense curve — a growing number of lawmakers are urging immediate restrictions including Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Rep. Ted Poe (R-Texas) and notably, House Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul (R-Texas).

The number of U.S. visitor visas granted to the Ebola-stricken countries has been rising sharply at the same time the disease is multiplying at exponential rates, representing a volatile combination that merits visa restrictions.  In 2013, the U.S. issued 3,500 visas to Liberians — a country with more than half of the 8,914 reported cases — and 13,000 visas total between Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea. This week, the World Health Organization has released dire news, upping the fatality estimate from 50 percent to 70 percent and estimating there will be 10,000 new cases of Ebola in West Africa by December of this year.

Why no action?  One clue might be hidden in the CDC director’s recent statement that, “sealing the border simply creates public distrust."

BREAKING:Deadly Viruses Sweeping Across Africa

The deadly Marburg hemorrhagic fever has broken out in Uganda after samples taken to the Uganda Virus Institute tested positive, a top government official said Sunday.

Elioda Tumwesigye, minister of state for health told reporters that one person has so far died and 80 others are being monitored in central Uganda and the western district of Kasese.

"The Ministry of Health would like to inform the country of an outbreak Marburg which has so far killed one person. Another person who has developed signs is being monitored," he said.

He said the index case died on Sept. 28 after developing signs of Marburg which was later confirmed by laboratory tests. The minister said the deceased's brother has also developed signs and is currently under isolation.

He added that all the people that had contact with them are being monitored.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBS Charlotte/AP) — A Liberian health official says the Ebola outbreak is now above the control of its government.

“Our government has declared this now as a humanitarian crisis that is above the control of the national government,” Tolbert Nyenswah, Liberia’s assistant minister of health, told CBS News.

More than 700 people have died in four western African nations during the largest Ebola outbreak ever, with over 320 known cases in Liberia alone. One American died while contracting the virus in Liberia. Two other American medical missionary workers also contracted Ebola

We have the most powerful weapons on earth, yet we have the biggest cowards in charge of them.

They sit around talking about gay rights and global warming.

We have to stop the trade in ivory to the Chinese, our old friends who think it's so cool to have a little carving made of ivory.

What kind of humans do we have on this planet, who will slaughter Christians and we do nothing?

Maybe now the liberals who don't care about Christians being massacred by Islamic militants will care about the elephants.

30 killed at Central African Rep. church

BANGUI, Central African Republic (AP) — A priest in Central African Republic says at least 30 people have been killed after suspected Muslim rebels attacked a church where Christians were seeking refuge.

The Rev. Paul Emile Nzale told The Associated Press that the gunfire and grenade attack took place Wednesday afternoon in a displacement camp at the Church of Fatima in Bangui, the capital.

An Associated Press reporter counted at least 20 bodies taken to a hospital in the city because the morgue was not in service.

Wednesday's attack is the largest in Bangui blamed on Muslim rebels since their Seleka coalition left power in January.
