A Brooklyn teenager was rushed to the hospital yesterday after showing symptoms consistent with Ebola.
The 14-year-old boy had a fever and was feeling fluish according to officials who spoke to the Daily News.
He was brought to Brookdale Hospital where tests are being run to see if he has the disease.

(Chicago) Some of the arriving passengers at O’Hare are going to be screened for Ebola. The world’s busiest airport will be part of a new effort to screen passengers for Ebola who are coming from certain foreign countries. Mayor Emanuel made the announcement at city hall.
“There’s gonna be enhanced screenings. They’re gonna start ‘em at 5 airports. Chicago O’Hare is one of those. We’re gonna work at every level, both aviation and public health to ensure we have the safety and security in place to ensure both our public health and our public safety.”

DALLAS – Authorities in Dallas are trying to locate a homeless person who might have had contact with the lone Ebola patient diagnosed in the U.S.
Dallas County Judge Clay Lewis Jenkins didn’t identify the person, whom he described as a “low-risk individual identified as a contact.” He stressed that the effort to locate the person was precautionary and that the person had not committed a crime.
“We are working to locate the individual and get him to a comfortable, compassionate place where we can monitor him and care for his every need for the full incubation period,” Jenkins said.

Hundreds of children across America have been sickened in recent weeks by what health officials suspect is a rare respiratory virus.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) believes that human enterovirus 68 is at the root of the epidemic, though testing of samples has not produced a definitive answer.
The Denver Post reported that officials at Children's Hospital Colorado have treated more than 900 children for severe respiratory illnesses since August 18, with 86 admitted to the hospital.
