You Can Contract Ebola By Sitting Next to Infected Person on Bus (Video)
During the House Oversight and Governmental Reform Committee Hearing on EbolaRepresentative Thomas Massie (R-KY) asked the question, “Can Ebola be contracted by touch?” and “Can Ebola be contracted sitting by someone on a bus?” When the questions are all but answered he finds a way to get his answer, in this short clip.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is calling President Barack Obama’s initial response to Ebola “incompetent.”
“It looked very incompetent to begin with, and that fueled fears that may not be justified,” Bush said during a discussion at Vanderbilt University, according to The Tennessean. “And now you have states that are legitimately acting on their concerns, creating a lot more confusion than is necessary

FEDS FEAR AIRBORNE EBOLA
Quietly seeking tools to kill 'aerosolized' virus
In a lengthy document that received nearly no media attention, a U.S. government agency has warned preliminary data shows Ebola is aerostable, meaning it can survive in the air and potentially be transmitted via airborne means.
The document was released in a federal government announcement seeking research proposals from private firms for Ebola treatment and diagnosis tools, including for the rapid disinfection of an “aerosol” version of the virus.
The announcement indicates that despite its public pronouncements to the contrary, the government is concerned the virus can spread through the air via vaporized bodily fluids.
There has been fear a patient can potentially self-vaporize Ebola through a strong sneeze, projectile vomiting or the flushing of a toilet.
The information was contained in a 33-page report released Oct. 24 by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, the Department of Defense’s Combat Support Agency for countering weapons of mass destruction.

WHITE HOUSE ADMITS U.S. BORDER CRISIS--TO OPPOSE EBOLA TRAVEL BAN
by JOEL B. POLLAK 21 Oct 2014, 5:13 AM PDT 333POST A COMMENT
One of the best arguments against a travel ban against the African countries where Ebola has broken out is that it would be ineffective, given the porous U.S. borders. Someone determined to travel to the U.S. would find a way. Surprisingly, that is the argument trotted out by White House deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes to explain why there is no travel ban. Previously, the White House has touted its efforts toward border security.
"We believe a travel ban could actually endanger people more by driving them underground and having them seek ways to find ways into the United States that are outside the existing travel protocols," Rhodes told MSNBC on Monday.
That flies in the face of what Democrats and their media allies have insisted recently --namely, that there is no border crisis. It took the debate over an Ebola travel ban to bring out the truth.

Ebola Plague Spreads to OHIO
AKRON, Ohio – Health officials in Ohio are monitoring more than 100 people following the visit by a Dallas nurse who tested positive for Ebola shortly after returning to Texas from the Cleveland area.
Officials said Saturday that none of those being monitored are sick.
State officials previously said 16 people Amber Vinson had contact with were being monitored. Officials say the sharp increase is a result of the identification of airline passengers who flew with Vinson between Dallas and Cleveland and the identification of people who also visited the dress shop where her bridesmaids were trying on dresses.
Vinson's stepfather is quarantined in his home in the Akron suburb of Tallmadge. That is where Vinson stayed during her visas.

The caregiver caught the deadly virus while treating patient Thomas Eric Duncan at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas this month. She flew to Dallas on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 the night of Oct. 13, according to a e-mailed statement by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She then reported symptoms the next morning.

Ebola outbreak: UN health worker dies in Germany hospital
A UN medical worker infected with Ebola has died at a hospital in Germany.
Doctors at the hospital in Leipzig said the man, 56, originally from Sudan, died despite receiving experimental drugs to treat the virus.
More than 4,400 people have died from the outbreak, mainly in West Africa.
The rate of new cases at some of the "epicentre" areas has slowed down, the World Health Organization says, but the number of cases in the capitals of the worst-affected countries is rising.
Senior WHO official Bruce Aylward told reporters on Monday that the outbreak was also continuing to spread geographically to new districts in the capitals of Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.

Ebola spreads to Ethiopia
By Hara Ethiopia
A disease that medical doctors believe is Ebola appears to be suspected in the Ethiopian capital. One west African origin diplomat has been admitted for flu like symptoms in Saint Yared General Hospital. Three more people have been also admitted to the black lion hospital, with a reported cases of bleeding and fever. Doctors in black lion hospital, speaking anonymously because of the sensitivity of the issue and afraid of reprisal action from government officials, are saying it is Ebola. The safety of the health staff and other patients still unknown.

Black Lions hospital employees have been instructed not to speak of suspected Ebola cases under threat of imprisonment. One of Hara Ethiopia source in Black Lion Hospital said ”unless the governments take action early and announce to the people for public health prevention, it will not be easy to bring Ebola outbreak under control.”
” It may be spreading very quickly in parts of the city where sanitation is poor ” a doctor said.
There are no reliable estimates so far of severity, mortality and morbidity rates of the disease due to severe restriction of free media in the country and it is difficult to verify it in this most secretive and totalitarian state in the world.

llegal Aliens Spreading TB and Death
DALLAS, Texas -- Ten unaccompanied alien children (UAC), who entered the U.S. illegally, were diagnosed with Tuberculosis (TB) between January through September, CNS News isreporting. All were detained while trying to enter the United States from the Mexican border, according to the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). Their points of entry were not disclosed.
According to CNS News, these children were allowed to stay in the United States.
ORR spokesman Kenneth Wolfe told the news outlet in an email that the children were isolated and treated, "after being rendered non-infectious, all 10 were released to verified sponsors in the U.S."
Wolfe also said, "The respective local health department connects with the health department in the city in which the child is released through the inter-jurisdictional TB notification system, and our Office of Refugee Resettlement also notifies the state. Then, the local TB control program follows up with the child and family.

Ebola Pandemic Spreads - US Surgeon General MIA
From the Daily Mail:
Currently the U.S. does not have a permanent surgeon general. President Barack Obama nominated Dr. Vivek Murthy to fill the spot last November after the previous surgeon general vacated the position.
Murthy's nomination has been tied up in the Senate since March amid concerns from conservative, gun rights group, the National Rifle Association, that the Harvard and Yale educated doctor would seek to implement restrictions on the Second Amendment if he were confirmed for the position.
...
Now, liberals in the media are arguing that Murthy, not [CDC Director] Frieden, should be out calming Americans and cautioning them on how they can avoid contracting the disease.
'Murthy has no business sitting around and waiting to be confirmed. The Obama administration should have been raising holy hell, demanding that a pre-eminent doctor get his vote on the Senate floor,' News One Now host Roland Martin wrote in an op-ed for The Daily Beast titled Where the Hell Is the Surgeon General?

Ebola Pandemic fault of Failed Obama CDC
HOUSTON, Texas -- The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) was not actively monitoring anyone who came in contact with Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who brought Ebola into the U.S., subsequent to September 28. The health care worker who tested positive for Ebola after caring for Duncan was only "self monitoring" for symptoms.
Only 48 individuals who may have come in contact with Duncan prior to his being admitted to the hosptial were being monitored by health officials. That group of 48 did not include people who came in contact with Duncan after he checked into Dallas' Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on September 28.
CDC Director Tom Frieden said at a press conference, "The 48 contacts identified were individuals who had contact with the patient up to the day he was isolated [at the hospital]. Those 48 are the only people that he may have had contact with [Duncan] before he became isolated. From September 28 through October 8, the date he passed away, that's the period when there may have been additional contacts given that this individual may have been infected."

Obama Failed Policies bring Viral Plagues like #EBOLA to USA
According to the Washington Post, the embattled Centers for Disease Control (CDC) did not consider America's second Ebola patient "high risk" and had followed all the CDC's precautions "including a gown, gloves, mask and protective face shield."
"We're very concerned," said Texas Health Resources chief clinical officer Daniel Varga.
A Texas Health Resources press release states the unnamed Ebola patient "had been under the self-monitoring regimen prescribed by the CDC, based on involvement in caring for patient Thomas Eric Duncan during his inpatient care that started on September 28."
The second Ebola patient--considered America's first Ebola transmission--is currently in stable condition in isolation.
