Islamic Burial Practices Spreading MORE #EBOLA In Muslim Super Majority Country (Media Ignores Islamic Part)

The spread of Ebola may not be making news headlines as much lately but it’s spreading in Sierra Leone as a result of Islamic burial practices and lax handling of other Ebola infected dead bodies. As Shoebat.com has reported, that country’s Muslim population makes up approximately 73% of the total population.
The rise in Ebola cases in Sierra Leone has prompted the country’s president to address these burial practices:
In order to curb the spread of Ebola, Sierra Leone’s President Ernest Bai Koroma has also called on the country’s local leaders to stop practices such as traditional burials. These involve touching corpses, the point at which transmission of the Ebola virus is most likely to occur.“We should stop all traditional practices for now, so that we will live to continue to practice them later,” Koroma said.
Missing in the reports about these practices is the fact that they are Islamic. In fact, in the same report,the blame is exclusively placed elsewhere:
Due to its shortage of treatment centers and lack of trained staff, Sierra Leone has now overtaken Liberia as the worst Ebola-affected nation. The United Nations and Red Cross are setting up a treatment center in the remote area of Kono which only has one ambulance to transport the sick and take blood tests for sampling.
Those may be legitimate causes but so are the Islamic burial rituals that should be identified as such. Reuters actually reported that the contrast in burial practices in Sierra Leone where Ebola cases are on the rise and in Libera where it is coming under control may be to blame. What the report doesn’t say is that Liberia has a much lower Muslim population at 13%.
Earlier this year, when Ebola was dominating the news, much of the concern had to do with Barack Obama’s expressed desire to transport patients from west Africa to the U.S. As Shoebat.com has reported.

#EBOLA CONTINUES TO RAGE IN SIERRA LEONE #PJNET
Virus still 'running ahead' of efforts to contain it
UNITED NATIONS – While focus on the Ebola outbreak has faded in the U.S. and the death toll in Guinea and Liberia has eased, the virus is still “running ahead” of efforts to contain it in West Africa, says Dr. Margaret Chan, director general of the World Health Organization.
The number of Ebola deaths in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone stands at 6,331, with more than 17,800 confirmed, probable and suspected cases.
Sierra Leone has become the new epicenter of the Ebola outbreak, with the WHO reporting 6,317 confirmed cases there, compared to 2,830 in Liberia and 2,035 in Guinea.
On Wednesday, Chan gave an update in an interview with the BBC.
“It is not as bad as it was in September,” Chan said. “But going forward, we are now hunting the virus, chasing after the virus. Hopefully we can bring [the number of cases] down to zero.”

That was the New York Daily News' recent front-page headline, giving voice to Americans' total exasperation with both Barack Obama and CDC chief Dr. Tom Frieden after weeks of having to endure condescending, evasive and contradictory assurances that they were totally on top of the Ebola threat – when the truth was exactly the opposite.During that period, a Liberian man who personally carried a dying Ebola victim was allowed to fly from West Africa into Dallas, where he interacted with dozens of people including school children, then fell deathly ill with Ebola. A nurse at the hospital, while following the CDC's Ebola-care protocols, became infected, and a fellow nurse, after developing a fever – the No. 1 early-warning sign of the disease – phoned the CDC to ask if it was OK to fly on a commercial airliner and was told, yes, have a great flight. Then she fell ill with Ebola as well. |

Citing #Ebola, Obama Allows Nationals from Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone to Stay in U.S.
Last Thursday, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Jeh Johnson announced that nationals from Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone are eligible for protection from deportation, grants of work authorization, and travel authorization for eighteen months. (USCIS Press Release, Nov. 20, 2014) DHS is affecting this change by granting nationals from these countries, whether legal or illegal, Temporary Protected Status (TPS). DHS estimates these grants of TPS will apply to 8,000 West Africans. (Liberia TPS Notice, 79 Fed. Reg. 69502-69506 (Nov. 21, 2014); Guinea TPS Notice, 79 Fed. Reg. 69511-69515 (Nov. 21, 2014); Sierra Leone TPS Notice, 79 Fed. Reg. 69506-69511 (Nov. 21, 2014))
In the announcement, the Obama Administration cites the Ebola outbreak as the reason for granting TPS to these West African nationals. However, this justification is questionable. Indeed, federal law permits DHS to grant temporary protected status when returning foreign nationals to their home country would be dangerous to those individuals due to the foreign country's:
- ongoing armed conflict;
- natural disaster, epidemic, or other environmental disaster; or
- extraordinary conditions, as determined by the attorney general. (INA § 244(b)(1))
However, with respect to natural disasters, epidemics, or environmental disasters (paragraph B), other conditions must be met before DHS can grant TPS to the nationals of a specific country. Namely, the foreign state must both be temporarily unable to adequately handle the return of its nationals and officially request designation under TPS. (INA § 244(b)(1)(B))
Because the Centers for Disease Control has labeled the Ebola outbreak in West Africa an epidemic, one would expect that the Obama Administration would meet these requirements. (See CDC Introduction to Epidemiology (stating that "outbreak" and "epidemic" have the same meaning; CDC Questions and Answers on Ebola (referring to Ebola as both an epidemic and outbreak)) Instead, DHS designated Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone as TPS countries under paragraph (C), describing the conditions in that country as "extraordinary" and prevent aliens who are nationals of those countries from returning to the state in safety. (Liberia TPS Notice at 69503; Sierra Leone TPS Notice at 69508; Guinea TPS Noticeat 69512)
This TPS designation became effective on Friday, November 21, 2014 and applies to nationals of Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone who have continuously resided in the U.S. since November 20th and have been continuously present in the U.S. since November 21st. (Id.) The TPS designation will remain in effect through May 21, 2016. USCIS has started accepting applications immediately and registrations will continue until May 20, 2015. (Id.)
DHS estimates that 4,000 Liberians, 2,000 Guineans and 2,000 Sierra Leones will be eligible for temporary protected status. (Liberia TPS Notice at 69504; Guinea TPS Notice at 69513; Sierra Leone TPS Notice at 69508) As of 2012, the Census Bureau estimates that foreign born population from these countries in the United States (legal and illegal) is: Liberia, 71,000; Guinea, 11,000; Sierra Leone, 35,000. US BORDER AGENT: WE ARE NOT READY FOR EBOLA
A U.S. Border Agent is saying that his department has no policy in place to watch the borders for illegals entering who might be infected with Ebola.
Fox 5 San Diego reports that the federal government has confirmed that six percent of people from Africa who enter the U.S. do so illegally through the southern border.
But apparently the U.S. government has no plan to monitor such people from Ebola countries who enter illegally and might be brining in the Ebola virus with them.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection claims that agents have received training for Ebola. But Fox 5 found one local official who disputes that claim.

Banning travel from Ebola-stricken West African countries could keep the deadly virus from spreading in the United States, say critics of President Obama’s claim that such a ban would only make the outbreak worse.
Travel bans are already working in several African countries, said Dr. Gerald Weissmann, a professor at the NYU Langone Medical Center.
“There are no cases now” in the countries where bans are in effect, he noted.

CDC Ebola Instructions are wrong! Could lead to DISASTER!

Respected George Washington University hospital laboratory director Dr. Jonathan Reiner exposed the Obama administration’s flawed and inaccurate health advice for citizens during the Ebola outbreak.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention came under fire Wednesday after it was revealed that officials advised Dallas nurse Amber Vinson that she could board a Frontier Airlines flight to Ohio with a mild fever after she treated Ebola patient Thomas Duncan. Vinson was later diagnosed with Ebola. (RELATED: Nurse Who Had Ebola Was Given Green Light To Fly Despite Fever)
CDC’s website instructions are “unacceptable” and could expose those who follow them to contamination, Reiner said.
“This is from CDC web page for Ebola personal protective equipment,” Reiner tweeted late Wednesday night. “Notice exposed skin at face & neck. Unacceptable.”

Ebola Health Worker Flew Hours Before Reporting Symptoms
A second health-care worker diagnosed with Ebola in Texas flew between Cleveland and Dallas hours before she reported symptoms to state health workers, U.S. health officials said today.
The caregiver caught the deadly virus while treating patient Thomas Eric Duncan at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas this month. She flew to Dallas on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 the night of Oct. 13, according to a e-mailed statement by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She then reported symptoms the next morning.

Ebola and the Stench of Democrat Desperation - VIDEO

One of the most fascinating things to me during this election season has been the media’s studious obliviousness to the obvious stench of desperation surrounding Democrat campaigns. By comparison to the Republican disaster of 2006, the Democrats are showing an equally obvious amount of fleeing the Democrat brand ID, the Democrat President, and Democrat policies, and an equally obvious amount of fetid desperation in their attack ads.
The latest of these has been the recent attempt by Democrats to blame Ebola on Republicans. Factually, this is an asinine attack for reasons that have been covered here exhaustively already. But the Democrats realize that an attack doesn’t have to be factual to be effective. That is especially true when an attack is released within a short enough time frame of the election that the opposition doesn’t have enough time to mount an effective pushback.
#Ebola to go airborne
Experts have reportedly not tested whether Ebola patients can infect others by coughing or sneezing even as one of the top experts on the particular strain of Ebola that has ravaged West Africa believes the virus is "primed" to go airborne.
Dr. David Sanders, a Purdue University biology professor who "has been studying the virus since 2003 – specifically how this particular Zaire strain of Ebola enters human cells," told The Indy Channel (rtv6 ABC) that the Ebola virus "can enter the lung from the airway side" and is "primed to have respiratory transmission."
"We need to be taking this into consideration," Sanders said. "What if? This is not a crazy, 'What if?' This is not a wild, 'What if?

A United Nations worker infected with Ebola has died in hospital in Germany despite intensive medical treatment.
The 56-year-old man was being treated at the St Georg hospital in the eastern German town of Leipzig after being admitted five days ago.
Local health officials said last week the patient was a Sudanese doctor who had arrived in Germany from Liberia.

WHO warns of 10,000 #Ebola cases per week- Deaths at 70%
Death rate increases to 70%
- WHO assistant director-general gave the figure during a news conference
- He said if response to crisis isn't stepped up 'a lot more people will die'
- Previously, WHO had said the death rate was around 50 per cent
- WHO's Ebola death toll tally now4,447, nearly all of them in West Africa
- Group said the number of probable and suspected cases was 8,914
World Health Organization official has warned there could be up to 10,000 new cases of Ebola per week over the next two months and that the death rate has now increased to 70 per cent
WHO assistant director-general Dr. Bruce Aylward gave the figure during a news conference Tuesday.
He said that the 70 per cent death rate was 'a high mortality disease' in any circumstance and that the U.N. health agency was still focused on trying to get sick people isolated and provide treatment as early as possible.
