No Charges likely for #Ferguson Police Officer

FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOX) – Information about the Michael Brown fatal police shooting is beginning to leak out, and former St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch says it’s no accident the feds are allowing the information.

Fitch discussed a New York Times article indicating, according to federal investigators, there was a struggle that led up to the fatal police shooting of Brown, with KMOX’s Mark Reardon on Monday.

Fitch calls the information from the investigation coming out as phase two – to “coordinate leaks to the media, and to start getting some of the facts out there to kind of let people down slowly,” he says. “When I say this is phase two – phase one was really Eric Holder’s announcement how they were going to basically do a complete review and take over the Ferguson Police Department.”

Fitch says he thinks the feds recognize that it’s “probably very unlikely” that there’s going to be charges against Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson.

REPORT: FERGUSON OFFICER DARREN WILSON SAYS HE FEARED FOR LIFE

WASHINGTON (AP) — The New York Times is reporting that the police officer who fatally shot an unarmed 18-year-old in a St. Louis suburb last summer has told investigators that he was pinned in his vehicle and in fear for his life as they struggled over his gun.

The newspaper reports that Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson has told authorities that Michael Brown reached for the gun during a scuffle. The Times reports that the officer's account to authorities did not explain why he fired at Brown multiple times after emerging from his vehicle.

According to the newspaper, the account of Wilson's version of events came from government officials briefed on the federal civil rights investigation into the Aug. 9 shooting.

There was a rally at Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis after the march. Events are scheduled all weekend.

Friday night was relatively calm in St. Louis City and Ferguson. On Thursday demonstratorsvandalized a pharmacy, threw rocks through windows, 
tossed a knife at police, smashed cars and torched a US flag.

Tonight, the St. Louis Cardinals are playing in town. The protesters have been
outside of every game this post-season so it is likely they will show up tonight
en masse.
There is also a large police presence expected downtown this evening.

This warning was just tweeted out:out today at the Justice for All: National 
March and Rally in downtown St. Louis. It was really a pathetic showing considering 
they had been promoting the event for weeks.

The protesters carried their pro-communist, anti-police, anti-Jew, pro-violence 
signs with them as they marched down Market Street in St. Louis.

Ferguson Gentle Giant was a gangbanger and felon

Poor, sweet, innocent Mike Brown. That is the racially-charged story that is sweeping the nation. And it’s a compelling one—to think that an evil officer shot an innocent boy for no apparent reason other than race. But it’s not the truth.

In fact, the media’s version of the truth leaves out some very important facts. Like, for instance, the fact that Mike Brown had a juvenile criminal record. This follows reports from a journalist who claims that he has a lawsuit that will prove that Mike Brown was a gang member and a key suspect in a murder.

Recently, Charles Johnson, Editory-in-Chief of GotNews, announced that despite the family’s claims that Brown did not have a criminal record, evidence is starting to point elsewhere. Johnson revealed that he’d been approached by at least two law enforcement officers claiming that Brown did have a sealed record. He immediately filed suit to have the records released.

Citizen Encounters Is Necessary but Not Enough

In the wake of the unrest sparked by the police killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and other such incidents around the country, some commentators (for example, here and here) have proposed equipping police officers with wearable cameras to record encounters with citizens. A number of important issues would need to be resolved in order to implement this proposal but, on the whole, it makes sense.

Nonetheless, even under the best of circumstances, recording police-citizen encounters is no panacea. These encounters are often inherently dangerous. Any systematic effort to reduce violent conflicts between police and citizens should also aim to reduce the total number of occasions when police confront citizens.

Did Wilson—who reportedly sustained some kind of facial injury during an altercation with Brown—act appropriately in the heat of a confrontation in which Brown reportedly reached for the officer’s gun?

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. took the unusual step of travelling to Ferguson to coordinate a Justice Department investigation into the shooting, which was already being probed by local and state law enforcement agencies. Holder’s presence instilled confidence in many that justice will be done. For some—especially long aggrieved minority communities with a long history of uneasy and often violent relationships with police—that will only be achieved with Wilson’s conviction. #Ferguson: New Demonstrations Support Darren Wilson

Hundreds rallied in the city in the first public show of support for the officer.

At the rally, attended by around 150 people, protesters walked around wearing specially printed T-shirts which were sold for $7 with a police shield on which was the words: ‘I stand by Darren Wilson’.

Instead of a badge number it read 8.9.14 - the day he killed 18-year-old Michael Brown.

Two Facebook pages in support of Wilson, 28, have also sprung up with a combined total of 35,000 likes.

Supporters have also set up a GoFundMe site for raising money for Wilson which raised $1,500 towards a goal of $5,000 to pay for his legal fees in just two hours.

Witnesses claim that Wilson, a six year veteran with the police in Ferguson.

Ferguson and the Militarization of Police

The Guns below represent a small fraction of weapons seized by the Chicago Police Department.

As you can see, these are not sporting rifles, nor the "Saturday Night Special" Guns that law enforcement has seen in the past. They are, rather, military grade assault rifles, with large magazines capable of firing many rounds designed to kill an adversary.

These are the guns Chicago gangs are using to kill not only each other (Which is fine with most people) but innocent onlookers. They are some of the deadliest available: CPD reports seeing AK-47's, M-16's and other semi and even fully automatic weapons and a grenade launcher.

This is what Police in Major Urban areas face daily.

Eric Holder, President BO and the Liberal MSM are AGHAST at some of the vehicles and guns being used by the Ferguson Police, but they only mimmick the type of equipment used by Law Enforcement nation-wide.

The Guns that you see above are the Reason: 

POLICE who must face these dangers daiy deserve the best protection that money can buy.  Since the Military has tactics and arms already in place to deal with the tribal orgies of violence that happen in the nations Black areas, this equipment has been employed for some time.

The MSM should stop the hypocrisy and do their job - if they had been they would KNOW what POLICE Face daily and KNOW that the deadly threats faced by Law Enforcement dictate the use of the levels of force that Military Tactics and Weapons provide.

Ferguson, Mo. (KMOX) — Looters set fire to a Ferguson QuikTrip, smashed shop windows and carried off merchandise at several stores following a prayer vigil for a man shot and killed by police Saturday.
