‘Disarm NYPD’ seeks to strip #POLICE of firearms !!! @Bizpac

Create ‘no cop zones’

An anti-cop group wants to take its beef with law enforcement to a new level:  disarm the New York City Police Department.
“Disarm NYPD” is teaming up with Copwatch groups—which monitor and record alleged police brutality—to create “no-cop zones” in the city and, ultimately, strip the police of firearms.
A member of Disarm NYPD, who chose to remain anonymous, told Waging Nonviolence Thursday, “We feel that the police have proven that they’re not responsible enough to carry arms due to the fact that they’ve been killing people so consistently for so many decades.
“We feel that they should be disarmed immediately.”

#BREAKING #POLICE UNION WANTS KILLING #COPS TREATED AS #HATE CRIME

AP/Craig Ruttle

With over 300,000 members, the National Fraternal Order of Police wants crimes against police officers to fall under the Congressional hate crimes statute. The move comes in the wake of the brutal murders of two New York City police officers, Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.

The group sent a letter to the White House and Congress asking for the change.
“Right now, it’s a hate crime if you attack someone solely because of the color of their skin, but it ought to be a hate crime if you attack someone solely because of the color of their uniform as well,” said Jim Pasco, the executive director of the National Fraternal Order of Police.
“Enough is enough! It’s time for Congress to do something to protect the men and women who protect us,” Chuck Canterbury, the president of the union, said in a statement Monday. The group has long lobbied for harsher punishment for those who harm law enforcement officers.

#TCOT #TEAPARTY Exposing #Blacklivesmatter "Protest" Leaders

AUDIO: Exposing ‘Leaderless’ Anti – Cop Protests

#Thugs Silence 09-year-old #Navy Vet

U.S. Navy veteran Dario Raschio was all smiles Saturday as he awaited a special honor from U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, who joined him at Portland Community College's Southeast Campus to present the 100-year-old with a handful of medals.

"I feel I'm no hero," said Raschio, dynamic and spry, before the event. "I don't accept it as being a hero. I accept it as being a part of my job."

Shortly after Wyden began speaking, though, protesters erupted in the back of the room, shouting "hands-up, don't shoot!" More than 100 pushed through the doors, banged on the windows from outside and hoisted signs.
Raschio and his daughter, Pam Brown of Portland, had a front-row seat to the spectacle. Raschio's smile faded.

Demonstrators across the country have used "don't shoot" and "hands up" as rallying cries following the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, last fall. "I can't breathe" references the death of Eric Garner, an unarmed black man who died in July following a chokehold by a New York City police officer.

#TCOT Family, officers attend funeral of murdered #NYPD Officer Wenjian Liu

Under gray skies and a light rain, New York City offered a final salute to Wenjian Liu, the NYPD officer who was murdered with fellow Officer Rafael Ramos as they sat in their squad car on a Brooklyn street.
Liu, 32, was on the force seven years when he was murdered on December 20, just two months after he was married.
Liu’s wife, parents and other family members were joined by thousands of NYPD officers at Aievoli Funeral Home in Dyker Heights for the funeral service.
Msgr. Robert J. Romano, an NYPD chaplain, opened the service with a Buddhist saying: "When you are born, you cry, and the world rejoices. When you die, you rejoice, and the world cries.
---------------------------------------------------
Overcome with Grief, President Hussein Obama could not attend -

Uncle Joe hid his half-pint long enough to put in a token show at the Funeral of Officer RAMOS, but

WHERE WAS #HOLDER?

He is, after all, the CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER IN THE LAND - so couldn't he put his RACE-BAITING AWAY long enough to show some RESPECT?

Re Respect - some BIMBO at CNN implied that #NYPD Officers, by showing lack of Respect for their "Mayor" also showed they HAVE NO RESPECT For those they serve -

NOW LAW ENFORCMENT HAS TO RESPECT THE GANG-BANGERS,  DRUG ADDICTS, FILTHY HOES?

Oh yea, and when there are Thounsands of Blue Uniforms standing at attention -

WHERE ARE THE BIG MOUTHS?

#BREAKING #NEWS Thug shoots at 2 San Francisco #POLICE

Police are searching for a man who fired shots at two San Francisco Bay Area officers.

It wasn't immediately clear if the suspect was shot, and police were searching for him hours later in the neighborhood. Officials advised residents to stay inside.
The shooting comes amid heightened tensions nationwide over attacks on police elsewhere in the country after the killings of unarmed black men by white officers in Missouri and New York.

#TCOT #Chicago Blue Ribbons Showing Up on Street Poles In Support of #Police

MOUNT GREENWOOD — Patricia Gilboy-Mueller of Mount Greenwood simply wanted to show support for the Chicago Police Department when she placed blue ribbons on the street poles and trees on her block.
A couple days later she, her daughter and a neighbor lined the commercial district on 111th Street with the blue ribbons. Car horns honked and people waved on Tuesday as their effort seemed to touch a nerve in the community populated by a significant number of police, firefighters, teachers and other city workers.
The Blue Ribbon Walk was born from this modest display of support. The march in appreciation for police officers in Chicago and nationwide steps off at 1 p.m. on Saturday from the northwest corner of 111th Street and Kedzie Avenue.
The walk concludes at the Mount Greenwood Community Church at 3509 W. 111th St. Pastor Bill Crowder will give a blessing to all officers. Hot chocolate and cookies will also be available.
"I respect what they [police] do," Gilboy-Mueller said.

#TCOT WHO’S BEHIND #NYC #FERGUSON PROTESTS. Radical leftists behind anti-police rallies

image
By Aaron Klein
Missing from most news coverage is that the anti-police protests rocking New York are being openly coordinated and led by professional radical leftist agitators, primarily Occupy Wall Street and a communist aligned anti-war, anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian extremist organization.

A KleinOnline review of major news coverage of the protests finds headlines such as these:

USA Today: “NYC protesters defy mayor’s call for moratorium.”

Bloomberg: “Protesters Defy NYC Mayor’s Call to Hold Off While Slain Cops Are Mourned.”

Reuters: “NY protesters reject plea for hiatus despite police slayings.”

New York Daily News: “Protests resume in New York to oppose police brutality despite Bill de Blasio’s plea to suspend demonstrations.”

The headlines and coverage largely leave the impression the demonstrations are spontaneous reactions to recent actions by law enforcement officials that some contend were motivated by racism. The protests have focused on the deaths of African-Americans Eric Garner and Michael Brown, both of whom were killed by police officers.

However, the protests, aimed at shutting down Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue shopping district ahead of Christmas, are being organized openly by radical leftist groups whose intent may not simply be the protest of alleged racism

#TCOT #PJNET ‘Cop Will Be Killed On New Years Night'

: Chilling Note To Police On Bathroom Wall Has Officers On Alert

New Years Cop Threat
Most threats toward police officers have been directed to the New York Police Department. However, another department is now on high alert following a chilling note that claims another officer will be killed on New Year’s Eve. According to Arkansas Matters, a threat, made toward the Rogers Police Department, was found inside the bathroom of a local convenience store. The message was reportedly written on the wall inside of a bathroom stall.
It reads as follows.
“A cop will be killed New Year’s night in Rogers, AR 12-31-14,”
“MS 13.”
According to the University of Maryland’s gang activity report, “MS-13,” is the abbreviation for Mara Salvatrucha, a transnational criminal gang founded by Salvadorans. The gang, which was reportedly founded in Los Angeles, has spread to many areas of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Central America. According to the FBI, the gang operates in approximately 42 states. Although most of its members are Salvadorans, it is not uncommon for the group to have members of other ethnicities

#TCOT #NYPD #Cops Are Letting Minor Crimes Slide

Afraid of Public Backlash for Doing Their Jobs

By , December 30, 2014.
Following the assassination of Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, many NYPD police officers are starting to let minor offenses slide out of fear of public backlash.
“I’m not writing any summonses. Do you think I’m going to stand there so someone can shoot me or hit me in the head with an ax?” said one police officer on Sunday.
“I’m concerned about my safety,” the cop added. “I want to go to home to my wife and kids.”
A supervisor with the NYPD has noticed the drop in recording summonses.
“My guys are writing almost no summonses and probably only making arrests when they have to — like when a store catches a shoplifter,” he said.

#TCOT It’s Open Season on #Police and Firefighters since #NYPD Executions

A police car set on fire by anarchist demonstrators burns in the midst of protests during the G20 summit in downtown Toronto
Christmas week has seen open season on America’s police and firefighters.
Since the execution of two New York City policemen the Saturday before Christmas, there have been at least four assassination attempts on police officers and firefighters as well as the killings of two police officers who were fatally shot responding to calls.
Also, police have been attacked at crime scenes by angry mobs.
In Los Angeles Sunday night a tactical alert was declared after two men armed with a rifle opened fire on a patrol car. No one was hurt in the attack.
In Florida firefighters in Jacksonville were sprayed with gunfire last Tuesday night in a drive-by shooting. Fortunately only one fireman was wounded—by a richochet that grazed his arm.
In Durham, North Carolina on Christmas night a policeman narrowly avoided being assassinated when he caught sight of two men approaching his patrol car from behind and got out to speak to them. One of the men drew a gun and fired six shots—all of them missed the officer with one hitting his driver’s side door.
Again in Florida two Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies were sitting in the patrol cars in early Sunday when a car drove by and someone fired three shots at them. The bullets missed but passed close enough the deputies could hear them whizzing by.
In Arizona Flagstaff Police Officer Tyler Stewart was shot and killed while responding to a domestic violence call Saturday. The gunman subsequently killed himself.
Again in Florida Tarpon Springs Officer Charles Kondek was shot and killed while responding to a noise complaint. The suspect ran over Kondek after shooting him.
Police officers in Texas City, Texas were attacked by a mob early Friday morning after an officer shot and killed a gun-wielding man in a night club parking lot.
Once again in Florida, Delray police were attacked by a growing mob. Two officers were assaulted and the windshield on a patrol car was smashed.
In New York City on Tuesday, a fire station abandoned its post next door to a police station after the police were threatened by a Black prison gang, the Black Guerilla Family.
The Black Guerilla Family is also reported by the FBI to be targeting white police officers in Maryland.

NYC Police Commissioner says cops 'feel under attack' by #OBAMA, #Justice

Cops on the beat and their bosses believe they are under attack from President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, New York City’s police commissioner said Sunday.
Commissioner William Bratton said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that the president and the attorney general have to see why police have the anxieties and perceptions they have as law enforcement grapples with the fallout from the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases.
“They really do feel under attack, rank-and-file officers and much of American police leadership, that they feel they’re under attack from the federal government at the highest levels,” Bratton said. “So that’s something we need to understand also, this sense of perception that becomes a reality.”
He added, “We have a lot of talking we’re going to have to do here to understand all sides of this issue. This is not a one-sided issu

#POLICE LIVES MATTER

(USA Today) As thousands of law enforcement officers and civilians alike gathered Saturday to pay their final respects to one of two New York officers gunned down as they sat in their patrol car, scores of people joined in solidarity at pro-police rallies across the country.
The rallies were planned to show support for police in the wake of several high-profile police shootings of unarmed civilians, including Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., and Eric Garner in New York, and the Dec. 20 killings of New York officers Rafael Ramos and Wejian Liu.
Ramos’ funeral coincided with the planned rallies, many of which were started through social media using the Twitter hashtag #BlueLivesMatter. Funeral services were also held Saturday for a police officer killed in the line of duty Dec. 21 in Tarpon Springs, Fla.
Similar events were held or planned in cities such as Atlantic City, Houston and Cleveland on Saturday.

Three Cheers fot #NYPD

Unequivocally.
Better The Rev & Co. turn their march into a parade to celebrate the NYPD — and how the department, almost single-handedly, turned this city around. (Notwithstanding efforts to the contrary by rabble-rousing self-promoters like Sharpton.)
How ironic that the reverend titled his bit of street theater a “We Will Not Go Back” march. Because that’s precisely what he wants the city to do: return to the ugly days when cops failed to control crime, chaos ruled and the city was barely livable.
Only two decades ago, the city saw 2,245 people murdered in a single year. That’s more than six lives a day — and most of those were the lives of blacks and Hispanics. Moms and dads had their kids sleep in bathtubs to avoid stray bullets.
Today, thanks to the men and women in blue, this year the average is less than one murder a day. Think of all the lives, minority lives, that have been saved.
Even beyond that, New York’s Police Department made the city livable. It has made it possible for people to run businesses here and live their lives without daily dread.
