Caught quite literally in the middle of the conflagration in the Middle East is Israel. Abandoned by the Islamist Obama administration, which has consistently attempted to goad her into a vulnerable position, smarting from the heinous murder of three of its young citizens and well-aware of ISIS operatives insinuating themselves into the Palestinian territories, is it only a matter of time before she does what is necessary to preserve her safety? With trembling Arab neighbors and a rattled Iran, will the Israeli government determine that vaporizing the whole of northern Iraq might be the best way to demonstrate once and for all that they are serious about Israel’s security – as well as putting an end to the invertebrate diplomacy Obama and his rubber-faced creature John Kerry are attempting to foist upon them?

After 4,500 American lives, two Billion Dollars and nine years we are once again being asked to save the worthless asses of the Iraqis.  I have a great idea folks:

I recall the long historical lessons from CNN and many nights with Bernard Shaw and Peter Arnette as Crisis in the Gulf (nightly on CNN at 6:30 CST) Became War in The Gulf. Stormin' Norman , AKA Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr. gave us a stirring report of the Astounding US Advance and always a good laugh. (normally at the expense of Saddam's laughable Army)

After 12 years, we repeated the Same invasion, this time going all the way to Baghdad.  BTW - those reports of Iraqi Soldiers throwing down their arms and running Away as ISIS advances that you are hearing on the news now are EXACTLY what Saddam's Army Did in 2003.  Many of them of course joined the Islamic Jihad in Iraq which kept us busy for another five years. But many Just RAN WAY never to fight again.


That SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT THE FEARLESS MUSLIM WARRIORS!

Now, it's SOS as the Old Sunni/Shia/Kurd question (that was never settled at all) resurfaces, this time with potentially devastating consequences for US interests and America.  The Iraq Mess is further complicated by reports that a number of former Ba’athist military commanders from the Saddam Hussein era had joined forced with ISIS in the effort to overthrow the Malarky regime. 


Anyway, as I did in 1991, I propose an easy, efficient and cost-effective solution to this vexing Dilemma:
