WHY THEY CAN'T STOP TRUMP ! @Views
July 21, 2015

In a Sunday column in The Washington Post, “Stop laughing at Donald Trump,” a liberal analyst from the Brookings Institution tries to warn the Washington, D.C. beltway elites that they should take the businessman seriously because he has figured out how to win a national election—by taking the white vote. This is the “silent majority.”
While it is true that minorities and other groups helped elect President Obama twice, “the white portion of the electorate, which votes strongly Republican, underperformed in support of John McCain in 2008, and white turnout was down in 2012,” when Mitt Romney was the Republican presidential nominee, notes William H. Frey, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and a population studies professor at the University of Michigan.
In other words, if McCain and Romney had only come across in a more conservative and assertive manner, and had appealed to more white voters, they probably would have won.
Frey comments that Trump “appeals to a vein of the U.S. electorate that will remain a significant voting bloc for several election cycles to come: older whites.”
Yet, GOP politicians and Fox News commentators such as George Will and Charles Krauthammer have been attacking Trump and his policy positions. McCain went further, smearing Trump supporters as “crazies,” before Trump fired back, in comments on McCain’s war record. Veteran reporterSharyl Attkisson said Trump’s comments were taken out of context and distorted by The Washington Post.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: A MAN FOR ALL AMERICANS ! @VIews

Einstein said, “The problems in the world today are so enormous, they cannot be solved with the level of thinking that created them.”
This month, Donald Trump stood before the American people to announce his candidacy for becoming the next President of the United States.
He told the American people exactly what actions he expects to take once he becomes president.
He reminds me of President Teddy Roosevelt 1901-1909, who said, “Rhetoric is a poor substitute for action, and we have trusted only rhetoric. If we want to be a great nation, we must not merely talk; we must act big.”
“I will make the United States of America a great country again,” Trump said.

#CCOT #PJNET #TCOT #Memorial Day - Lest We Forget
Recessional
1897
God of our fathers, known of old,
Lord of our far-flung battle-line,
Beneath whose awful Hand we hold
Dominion over palm and pine—
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,
Lest we forget—lest we forget!
The tumult and the shouting dies;
The Captains and the Kings depart:
Still stands Thine ancient sacrifice,
An humble and a contrite heart.
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,
Lest we forget—lest we forget!
Far-called, our navies melt away;
On dune and headland sinks the fire:
Lo, all our pomp of yesterday
Is one with Nineveh and Tyre!
Judge of the Nations, spare us yet,
Lest we forget—lest we forget!
If, drunk with sight of power, we loose
Wild tongues that have not Thee in awe,
Such boastings as the Gentiles use,
Or lesser breeds without the Law—
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,
Lest we forget—lest we forget!
For heathen heart that puts her trust
In reeking tube and iron shard,
All valiant dust that builds on dust,
And guarding, calls not Thee to guard,
For frantic boast and foolish word—
Thy mercy on Thy People, Lord!

AMERICA'S GREATEST THREAT
By Chuck Baldwin
April 29, 2015
NewsWithViews.com
What is America’s greatest threat? Some would say it is illegal immigration. Some would say the Muslim people. Some would say homosexual marriage. Some would say ISIS. But none of these are America’s greatest threat.
At the expense of sounding preachy, America’s greatest threat is GOD. Rightly did Benjamin Franklin say, “God governs in the affairs of men.” And, rightly did Thomas Jefferson say, “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever.” Amen.
But the understanding of the Natural
Law principles by which God governs in the affairs of men and upon which His justice and judgment are predicated is mostly lost to this generation of Americans--including America’s pastors and Christians.
The life of Old Testament Israel’s King David affords many illustrations of the principles that God has ordained for nations and governments. As a personal note, King David is my very favorite Bible character. My appetite for studying his life is insatiable. Unquestionably, he is one of the three greatest men of the Old Testament (Abraham and Moses are the other two). I can even say that David is my hero. With all of his faults and failures, God yet inspired the New Testament writer to say that David was “a man after mine own heart.” He is a man after my heart, as well.

Natural Law and the Legitimate Authority of the United States

Government needs a basis to exercise authority over people. Citizens must accept government authority. A government lacking acceptance of the people over whom it exercises authority will not endure. Such acceptance comes from fear, tradition or philosophy.
Dictators obtain authority by instilling fear of disobedience in the populace. A theocracy ordained by God arises from religious traditions. A monarchy combines religious traditions[1] and fear of the monarch’s absolute authority. Communists have gained power with a philosophy based upon the “dictatorship of the proletariat”.[2] The United States was founded upon a philosophy of Natural Law as the source of legitimate legal authority for government.

[WATCH] SEN LEE – WORTH THE FIGHT TO STAND UP FOR AMERICAN PEOPLE,
THEY’RE NOT DONE YET
Senators Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) forced their fellow Senators to go on the record as to their stance on Hussein Obama’s illegal alien amnesty. Whether or not that is anything more than a moral victory remains to be seen but all of those in the fight on both sides of the issue now know their positions will be open to public scrutiny, both now and in future campaigns.
Asked if it was worth the effort, Senator Lee responds, “Yes, it’s always worth it when you stand behind the American people, who want to make sure that these things are being voted on. When we have a ‘president’ who engages in acts of lawlessness and behaves as if he were a government of one, it’s always worth it to stand up for the American people and get a vote on whether or not the ‘president’ should have taken that action.”
Senator Lee is asked by Bill Hemmer to clarify the basis for their objections. He points out in his response that, “This was a 1600 plus page bill that was prepared in secret, behind closed doors. It was never subjected to an open review, an amendment process in any committee, and we didn’t have any amendment process on the floor of the United States Senate or the floor of the House of Representatives. And so we thought that we should have at least one vote on some amendment on some option somewhere to allow Senators to signal their opposition to what the ‘president’ was doing.”
He asked about comments from some fellow Republicans that it was a stunt. Lee says, “Look, this isn’t a stunt and when we’re being asked to fund a $4 trillion government it’s not too much to ask to expect Senators to work through the weekend rather than recessing for 72 hours before getting back to their jobs.”
Those who labeled their actions a stunt may have preferred that their own complicity in the unconstitutional amnesty have remained a secret. It is unfathomable that senators demanding an opportunity to represent the people who elected them would be criticized by their colleagues for doing so. Those who voiced the criticism should be carefully scrutinized by their constituents.
