Send a Thank You card to a wounded hero this Easter
Dear Patriotic Friend,

I understand, based on the causes you support, that you're someone who deeply respects the sacrifices made by our wounded troops. So I thought you might want to cheer up a severely disabled military hero this Easter by sending a "Thank You and Get Well" card.Cheer up a wounded hero this Easter - send a Thank You card

It won't cost you a penny to send a beautiful card. And it will sure mean a lot to the injured hero who receives it.

It's all part of the Emergency Easter Meals Project, sponsored by the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes. We're asking thousands of patriotic Americans like you to pitch in by sending a card to a wounded soldier, marine, sailor or airman.

And when you send a greeting card you'll also have a chance to make atax-deductible donation to help provide Easter meals for a disabled military hero.

Your no-cost greeting card will be delivered to a wounded warrior like retired Marine Andrew Smith, who is struggling to rebuild his life, and the life of his little boy Laren, after returning home from the war on terror.

"I already don't eat the last 10 days of the month because I can't afford to," Andrew told us recently.

At the Coalition's Road to Recovery Conference in December, Andrew told us he was skipping meals so his 4-year-old boy could eat.

Life has been sheer hell for Andrew since he suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) during the war on terror.

During combat Andrew was shot at and thrown from his vehicle. Knocked unconscious, he woke up in an oil well fire.

Then when Andrew returned to the states he and Laren were facing a second battle - a battle for financial survival.

Say Thank You on Easter - send a card
