My latest in PJ Media, on the ongoing train wreck that is contemporary Britain:

Last May, I wrote an article titled “The 5 Latest Signs of Britain’s Imminent Demise.” These were, unfortunately, not anomalies. In Britain these days, galloping toward ruin is a more popular sport than soccer, and so an update is in order. Here are ten of the latest indications that Britons can look forward to a society thajiht is both more authoritarian and more dangerous than any free nation can long endure.

10. Another British Muslim killed fighting for Islamic State

It was revealed last Tuesday that a British jihadist who called himself Abu Abdullah al-Britani had been killed while fighting in Syria for the Islamic State. Al-Britani, a convert to Islam whose birth name was William Hasmou Clinic, was the eighth Muslim from Britain to be killed while fighting for the Islamic State.

British Islamist imam Anjem Choudary has been released from police custody after he was arrested for allegedly being a member of a banned terrorist group.

Choudary and nine other radical Muslims were detained during dawn raids in London on September 25 as part of an ongoing Metropolitan Police investigation into Islamist-related terrorism.

Choudary—one of the most high-profile jihadists in the United Kingdom, and well known for his relentless resolve to implement Islamic Sharia law there—is a former spokesman of the Muslim extremist group, al-Muhajiroun (Arabic: The Emigrants).

houdary said Rigby would "burn in hellfire" as a non-Muslim, and also praised Adebolajo as a "martyr." He said:

"Allah said very clearly in the Koran 'Don't feel sorry for the non-Muslims.'

"So as an adult non-Muslim, whether he is part of the Army or not part of the Army, if he dies in a state of disbelief then he is going to go to the hellfire.

"That's what I believe so I'm not going to feel sorry for non-Muslims.

"We invite them to embrace the message of Islam. If they don't, then obviously if they die like that they're going to the hellfires."

UK judges may have sometimes been "too ready" to follow decisions made by the European court of human rights, according to the UK's most senior judge.

And Lord Neuberger, president of the supreme court, says judges are beginning to see that such an approach may not be appropriate. He said one of the most controversial aspects of the European convention on human rights was that it was an international set of rules with the European court of human rights in Strasbourg as "its final arbiter".

A radical hate preacher linked to the ‘brainwashing’ of three Welsh young jihadis fighting in Iraq and Syria has outlined his chilling vision of a Nazi-style, Islamic state in Britain on video, describing how non-Muslims will be forced to shave their heads and wear a red sash, in a land where the ringing of church bells is banned.

Abu Waleed, 35, a leading preacher for a group banned last week for incitement to terrorism, was seen earlier this month at a barbecue in the Welsh capital where the banner of the Isis terror group – the Al Qaeda splinter group which the trio are fighting for – was flying.

‘That is the nightmare of Downing Street, my dear brothers.’

He says that under a British sharia state, non-Muslims will pay a tax called jiziya for protection.

He continues: ‘We are the ones who want to work for the sake of Allah, to establish the manifestation of Islam, and make sure David Cameron comes on his hands and knees, and gives us the jiziya.’

He then says that the Queen and Kate will be forced to wear veils.

Immigrants must learn English and “respect our way of life”, the new Culture Secretary says as he criticises migrants who have lived here for years but still cannot speak the language.

In an exclusive interview with The Telegraph, Sajid Javid says voters have legitimate fears over “excessive” immigration and are justified in wanting Britain to have more control over its borders.

Mr Javid, the first Asian Secretary of State, defends Nigel Farage, the leader of the UK Independence Party, against charges of racism but insists that only the Conservatives can deliver the reforms to European Union laws needed to cut immigration.
