CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Two New York police officers are dead after being shot at point blank range. Now, cops and communities across the country, including Chicago, are on edge.
After this weekend's events, police said they're concerned for their own safety and are outraged by the killings of the two NYPD officers. The violence has raised some new concerns about the relations between police and their communities.
“We have to be on the edge constantly, we don't know when the next attack is going to come,” said Dean Angelo Sr.
Angelo, the president of the Fraternal Order of Police, said this is a difficult time for those serving in law enforcement across the country and in Chicago
