BAGHDAD, Oct 23 (Reuters) – Islamic State wrested a Sunni Muslim village in western Iraq on Thursday from tribal defenders who put up weeks of fierce resistance, and the insurgents tightened a siege of the Yazidi minority on a mountain in the north.

The attacks showed Islamic State’s continued operating resilience despite air strikes by U.S.-led coalition forces aimed at defeating the ultra-radical Sunni jihadist group, which has captured large expanses of Iraq and neighboring Syria, beheaded prisoners and massacred people from other religious communities, and declared a medieval-style caliphate.

UK Daily Mail  Thirteen-year-old Dillyar cannot get the image of his cousin being beheaded out of his mind. The pair were fleeing Kobane and running down a street when Islamic State fighters blocked their exit.

Dillyar managed to slip through their grasp but his cousin Mohammed, 20, was seized, and gave a blood-curdling scream as one of the black-clad maniacs drew out a knife.

‘They pushed him to the ground and sawed his head off, shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’,’ the schoolboy told me yesterday. ‘I see it in my dreams every night and every morning I wake up and remember everything.’

Refugees who made it to Suruc, just across the border in Turkey, tell of witnessing appalling horrors in hushed tones, as if they can barely believe it themselves.

Father-of-four Amin Fajar, 38, said: ‘I have seen tens, maybe hundreds, of bodies with their heads cut off. Others with just their hands or legs missing. I have seen faces with their eyes or tongues cut out – I can never forget it for as long as I live. They put the heads on display to scare us all.’

These slaughtering America-haters are free to return to this country? Based on what? Jihadists who go to Iraq and/or Syria to wage holy war, behead, rape, slaughter are free to come back to this country. When did treason and sedition become mere inconveniences?

As for tracking them, the FBI has lost track of dozens of American Muslims waging jihad in the Middle East. Who does he think he is kidding?

Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan declaration of allegiance to ISIS

WASHINGTON – The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan – the Taliban group that seeks the overthrow of the Pakistani government – has sworn allegiance to the Islamic State, or ISIS, and has directed jihadists across the region to help ISIS set up its caliphate.

ISIS declared its caliphate from territory seized last June from northeastern Syria to western and central Iraq, and threatens to take over all of the Levant that includes Jordan, the rest of Syria, Lebanon and Israe

ISIS and its caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, already have received backing from Abdul Maulana Aziz, a follower of the Afghan Taliban supreme leader Mulla Mohammad Omar who led the infamous Red Mosque rebellion in Pakistan.

Aziz also is close to the Tehnik-i-Taliban Pakistan, or TTP, as WND recently revealed.

The TTP seeks to overthrow by violent means the Pakistani government, which possesses nuclear weapons.
