Dumb Aldermen want to ban chokeholds #Chicago #Police Don't Use

Chicago Police officers and their counterparts in public and private security would be forbidden from using chokeholds under a crackdown proposed Monday in response to protests sweeping the nation.

Last week, a New York grand jury refused to indict a police officer who placed Eric Garner in a chokehold after Garner resisted arrest for selling loose cigarettes, which are also a chronic complaint of Chicago aldermen.

The decision added fuel to the fire for protesters already upset about a grand jury’s decision in Ferguson, Mo., not to indict the police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown.

Wow. One record was broken by 25F!!!! 1695 Low Max Records Broken or Tied From Sept 11 to Sept 20 according to the NOAA. A “Low Max” means that the maximum temperatures for the day was the lowest it has ever been. This indicates daytime cooling. Below is a screenshot showing location and the biggest difference between old record and new record. The list is just the ones I could capture in a screenshot.

In covering the killings in Las Vegas by Jerad and Amanda Miller this week, mainstream media commentators once again displayed their hypocrisy and double standard regarding Islamic terrorism and terror attacks that are supposedly “right-wing.”

CNN’s national security analyst Peter Bergen wrote Tuesday the Millers “appear to have been motivated by extreme far-right views. The couple left a flag at the scene of the crime with the words ‘Don’t Tread on Me,’ a Revolutionary War symbol used by some anti-government extremists.”
