I would add to the Mr. Bullas' expert advice - JUST RELAX! Be yourself, and allow your writing to flow naturally. If you are all wound up in a knot, folks can tell and will quickly run from a message whose author is insecure about his/her message.
Just decide on what you want to write about, do your reseach, write a brief outline (if longer than a page), and them let it flow. It's easy when you allow the thoughts to come naturally.
