It is good that Sgt. Bergdahl has been freed, but the Gitmo detainees exchanged for him are seasoned Taliban jihadis who are going to return to the jihad — and now that this precedent has been set, there will be more attempts to capture U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan.

The Long History of Israel's Prisoner Swaps with the PLO, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, ad nauseum.
For decades the Israelis swapped prisoners with the Terrorist group that had been attacking them since their founding in 1947. When the Palestinians first proposed prisoner swaps as a means to end the Jihad attacks, the Israeli public was all for it. Things changed quickly when the first prisoner swaps with the PLO proved to be useless as the attacks continued, and soon accelerated to the Suicide bombers.
Decades went by, prisoner swaps with the Palestinian Terror groups continued, but the attacks continued and so did the deadly suicide bombings. Even as "Peace Talks" began the attacks continued. The pattern was always the same: a swap of land and/or prisoners was promised to result in peace.
It NEVER DID!
The suicide bombings continued at a deadly rate until the Separation Wall was begun. Even after this desperate step was begun, the Pals continued their Jihad Terror and suicide bombings.It was ONLY WITH THE COMPLETION OF THE SEPARATION WALL that a reasonable level of peace and safety was achieved for Israel. Now, the Pals bitch about the inconvenience it causes them!
