TEL AVIV – After months of financial hardship, the coffers of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization are set to overflow with Iranian financing as Tehran officially reconciles with Islamic Jihad leadership, Middle Eastern defense officials told WND.

Egypt is aware of Islamic Jihad members who traveled via the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and the Egyptian Sinai and from there to Tehran to facilitate the renewal of Iranian funding of Islamic Jihad, a separate Egyptian security source said.

With Islamic Jihad long refusing to aid the embattled regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a key regional ally for Iran, Tehran, until the past two weeks, held back financing for most of the terrorist organization’s projects.

Islamic Jihad became so cash-strapped that even its propaganda television network needed to lay off most of its correspondents and producers. Fighters went months with depleted salaries.

Iran also may have deliberately held back financing of Islamic Jihad because of the intense nuclear negotiations that ended in an agreement last month, the defense officials said.

All that is set to change as Iran has now pledged to renew full sponsorship of Islamic Jihad, the officials said.

The information comes amid a report in Iran’s Fars news agency quoting Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham expressing support for Palestinian “resistance” groups, especially Hamas.

“Iran’s support for all resistance groups continues similar to the past,” Afkham stated in response to a question about whether Tehran’s policy on supporting Hamas had changed.

Al Sharpton, MSNBC host, friend of Obama, tax cheat, and the man who led two anti-Semitic pogroms in New York City is now waging a new battle against Jews. He announced he is going to organize support for the P5+1 nuclear deal, which not only puts Israeli Jews in existential danger but also puts Americans of all faiths, moderate Gulf States, and much of the western world in danger.

Sharpton told the Huffington Post he supports the deal because war is racist:

"We have a disproportionate interest, being that if there is a war, our community is always disproportionately part of the armed services, and that a lot of the debate is by people who will not have family members who will be at risk," Sharpton said.

"I am calling on ministers in black churches nationwide to go to their pulpits Sunday and have their parishioners call their senators and congressman to vote yes on the Iran nuclear plan." 

Sharpton has previously nudged Cory Booker on Twitter regarding the senator's position, arguing that the New Jersey Democrat couldn't quote Tupac on war while also opposing the deal. 

Strangely, even though black women disproportionately account for 35.4% of all abortions, Sharpton does not lead an effort to stop killing babies.

The MSNBC star who, as of ten months ago still owed $4.5 million intaxes, is pushing local New York politicians to pass the agreement.

A lot of Democrats, I think, should have to consider how their voters will feel in their base vote,” the reverend added.

 

Sharpton also noted Friday that he has already contacted Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and other New York-area Democrats about backing the accord.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has watched as Israel, once tied to the American hip, has undergone a surgical separation from the United States by a President whose love for a deal with Iran has overcome any semblance of desire for the survival of Israel. Indeed, because the deal hastens the day when an avowed enemy of Israel and the United States (and a foremost state sponsor of global terror) obtains the bomb, it is a suicide pact. Moreover, if anti-semitism is a hatred for the Jewish race, the Obama deal with Iran is beyond anti-semitic, turning hatred into an actual license to kill the Jewish state.

So now that Prime Minister Netanyahu is confronted with an imminent threat to the survival of Israel, what must he do? There is only one real option. He must attack Iran and exert as much force as is necessary to eliminate its nuclear weapon potential, including its ability to manufacture fissile material. That will require a sustained and aggressive war, but it is a war that Israel can win.

Indeed, it is quite likely that if Israel acts unilaterally now to destroy the Iranian regime and eliminate its nuclear weapon potential, most if not all neighboring Arab states will avoid any involvement in the conflict (and will secretly celebrate the removal of the radical Islamist regime). Most Middle Eastern countries harbor bitter resentment over Iran’s ever present attempts to export its Shi’ite brand of radical Islam to their countries and either terrorize or topple their regimes. They harbor just about as much contempt for Iran’s leadership as Israel does.
