Major #SocialMedia Site Funds Anti-Christian HATE Group !!!

American Family Association Alerts Reddit.com Users of Grant to Freedom From Religion Foundation
TUPELO, Miss.— The social media site Reddit.com, which allows registered users to submit content that is then ‘voted’ up or down by other users to determine the content’s position on the page, has awarded an $82,765.95 grant to the anti-Christian Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), representing one of the largest grants the Wisconsin-based FFRF has ever received.
American Family Association (AFA, www.afa.netis alerting Reddit.com users of the grant and urging them to be aware of what their social media activities are supporting.
“Freedom From Religion Foundation regularly attacks religious liberty as a whole and Christianity in particular with a focused intent of separating all religious reference from public life,” said AFA President Tim Wildmon. “This earned them the distinct dishonor of inclusion on AFA’s recently released anti-Christian bigotry map, which exposes more than 200 organizations that regularly attack the foundation of our nation and wish to destroy religious freedom. It’s likely many Reddit.com users are not aware that their social media activity is aiding and abetting anti-Christian activity, but we hope that users will now think twice before frequenting the social media site.”
According to its website, Reddit.com, which was launched in 2005, claimed more than 151 million unique visitors last month from 212 countries viewing more than 6.6 billion pages.

Fox does not respond, Blogger helps

We still have not gotten a response from FOXNEWS on the issue with embedding their videos.

We have not gotten a response from MYFOXCHICAGO either.

Blogger has been helfulp, after the ADULT CONTENT WARNING was included.  It is there now.

NEW POLICY FOR 2015:

ONLY BEHEADING PHOTOS FOUND AT GOOGLE IMAGES WILL BE USED IN THE FUTURE.

Since Google makes them Freely Available (with NO ADULT CONTENT WARNING) it seems that WILL BE JUST FINE.

BTW - if you wonder what we're talking about, go to GOOGLE IMAGES and Search for "Beheadings" - LOOK!!!

Many of the SCANNNED PHOTOS ARE #ISIS Propaganda - FREELY AVAILABLE

So one might ask - Since Google/Blogger Insists we post an ADULT CONTENT WARNING (which they DO NOT) then

WHY ARE THEY GIVING #ISIS FREE PUBLICLITY?!?!?

It's odd, since YOUTUBE DELETES #ISIS BEHEADING VIDEOS as soon as they are found - but

THE PHOTOS ARE AVAILABLE AT GOOGLE IMAGES - giving #ISIS FREE PUBLICITY!

BTW - NO WORD FROM FOX - stay tuned

#Google Asks Users to 'Take Action' on Surveillance Reform

, Corporate Counsel

Google Inc. is trying to build public support for surveillance reform next year, saying on a new webpage that "2015 will be our moment."
The page, a part of Google's "Take Action" hub, went live on Wednesday, according to The Hill. Google, however, published the page without fanfare and, as of Thursday afternoon, hasn't appeared to link to it from the main "Take Action" website, which the company uses to rally support for a "free and open web."
A Google representative didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
The new page encourages visitors to "Join Take Action" by giving Google their contact information. A sign-up form borders a picture of a calendar with June 1, 2015, circled and the sentence: "I demand real surveillance reform in 2015."
That day is the date the U.S. government's bulk telephone records collection program is set to expire. The USA Patriot Act's Section 215 authorizes the gathering of the phone information.
"In June of 2015, we have a huge chance to protect Americans from mass surveillance when a key part of the USA Patriot Act is set to expire," the Google page says. "That means we need to be ready to take action this coming year. Join Take Action and help make the Internet more secure for everyone."

#Google Faces $18.6M Fine Over Dutch #Privacy Violations

Google could be fined up 15 million euros ($18.6 million) if it does not stop violating the privacy of Internet users in the Netherlands, the Dutch data protection agency said. The U.S. company is breaching the country’s data protection act by using people’s private information such as browsing history and location data to target them with customized ads, the Data Protection Authority (DPA) said.

France Plans to Ban UberPop Car Service
France plans to ban Uber Technologies Inc.’s UberPop car service, three days after a Paris judge rejected a bid to block the smartphone application that lets users get rides with private cars. “We are banning the service where someone can be a driver while not having the training, the background checks and basic requirements,” Pierre-Henry Brandet, an Interior Ministry spokesman, said in a telephone interview.

Tech Companies Support Microsoft Over Stored E-mails
Dozens of large tech companies, business groups and consumer privacy advocates offered support in Microsoft’s ongoing court battle with the U.S. government over customer emails stored offshore, arguing that requiring Microsoft to turn them over will prompt consumers to avoid U.S. companies’ cloud-based services. Verizon Communications, eBay, Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce were among the companies and business groups that filed amicus briefs today in the case, arguing that requiring Microsoft to turn over the records would set an unfortunate international precedent.

#Google Shutting News Site in Spain to Protest Law

The Google News website, which compiles headlines and summaries of news articles from various sources, will go dark in Spain on Dec. 16. Google plans to shut the site there in protest of a new law that would force the company and other news aggregators to pay Spanish publishers for the use of their content.

#Google finds its own Images "Disgusting"!

We recently put in an application for Google AD Words - why not make a few bucks off the blog?

Anyway, after reviewing our application, we were rejected, based on our use of the Beheading Photos that appear here.

We USE these PHOTOS to show the WORLD

  • What #ISIS is

  • What Radical #ISLAM is

  • What Serious Danger we are in

Google replied that the images we used were "Disgusting" - agreed, but it's #ISIS and Radical #Islam that are DISGUSTING.

MANY Of the Images in question can be found at GOOGLE IMAGES!

So if they are so "Disgusting" why does #Google make them available for all?

Seems when a Conservative LEGAL BLOG shows all the TRUTH Of #ISIS and RADICAL #ISLAM it's "Disgusting"

But when #Google displays the Terror of #ISIS to the world, it's just fine.

So much for Ad Words, but we just wanted to let YOU KNOW about this HYPOCRISY.

God Bless America

5 Reasons You May Not Want to Work for Google

J.T. O'Donnell

Influencer

CEO, CAREEREALISM Media & CareerHMO | Career & Job Search Coach | Employment Branding | Career Content Marketing

Several times each week, I get contacted by job seekers who ask the following:
"How can I get a job with Google?"
I cringe each time I get that question. It's like asking, "How can I get a one-on-one meeting with the President?" The chances of it happening are highly unlikely.
The Competition Isn't Just Tough... It's Insane!
Studies show the average job posting gets 118 applications. I've heard rumors (no hardcore proof, mind you), when Google posts a job, they get 1,000+. That's just mind-blowing.

You can now ask Google to remove links about you

You can now ask Google to remove links about you

If there's something online you don't want people to see, you can now ask Google to pretend the offending item doesn't exist.
The search giant has created an online form through which you can ask for links to personal data or posts about you to be removed from its search results. The new form is in response to a European Commission ruling earlier this month that people must have the "right to be forgotten" online.
The EC ruled that you can ask for Google to stop linking to anything that's "inadequate, irrelevant or no longer relevant, or excessive in relation to the purposes for which they were processed."

Google Must Yield on Personal Info - European Court:

AMSTERDAM (AP) — People should have some say over the results that pop up when they conduct a search of their own name online, Europe’s highest court said Tuesday.
In a landmark decision, The Court of Justice of the European Union said Google must listen and sometimes comply when individuals ask the Internet search giant to remove links to newspaper articles or websites containing their personal information.
Though digital rights campaigners say the ruling by the top court in the 28-nation EU favors individual privacy rights over the freedom of information, there are questions as to how it will be put into practice and whether it will prompt a change in the way search engines operate globally.

Is Google As Good As It Gets?

Analysts say the search engine may be weak in mobile–and that's a big deal.

Hold onto your Boolean operators—it’s a big claim. A recent article by Jim Edwards in Business Insider explored whether the Internet search engine provider Google Inc. is really as good as it gets.
“Search, as a business, is becoming a lot more complicated, with a lot more players, and a lot more stuff to be searched,” he said. Edwards explained that social media, along with music and apps have confused the once-simple search principles of going onto the site and typing what you want into a box on the screen. “We may be entering an era in which keyword-matching and link-ranking aren’t good enough anymore,” he said.
Edwards said it may actually be startups who are posed to takeover where the behemoth fails. He said it “isn’t about your mom sitting with her laptop typing 'new shoes' into a text box. It’s about her daughter, who wants her phone to automatically surface relevant new material even before she asks for it.” Oh Siri?

Authors Guild files appeal in Google copyright claim

[JURIST] The Authors Guild[advocacy website] filed an appellate brief [text] on Friday, renewing its complaint that Google[corporate website] is violating copyright laws with its mass book digitization project. The brief, filed with the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit [official website], claims that Google's "Library Project" is scanning copyrighted works and making them available online without the copyright holders' consent, "driv[ing] potential book purchasers away from online book retailers, increas[ing] its advertising revenue, and stifl[ing] its competition." The original lawsuit was filed in 2005 with a settlement agreement reached in 2008 that was rejected [JURIST reports] by a federal judge in 2011. The Authors Guild has suggested that Congress instead establish a "National Digital Library" that would be available to schools, libraries, and other subscribing institutions.

A document presented Friday in federal court for the Apple versus Samsung patent trial revealed that some Apple officials had serious concerns about the iPhone's competitive position vis-Ć -vis the growing popularity of Android smartphones.
Shown during a cross-examination of Phil Schiller, a 2013 email from Apple's senior vice-president suggests he was seriously concerned about how the consumer market perceived the iPhone, as compared with Samsung's line of smartphones.

Google Defends Effort to Block Anti-Islamic YouTube Clip

SAN FRANCISCO — Google is doing its best with available technology to block access to "Innocence of Muslims" on YouTube, and shouldn't be held in contempt for allegedly violating a Ninth Circuit order, the company argued in a weekend filing. The company has disabled some 1,400 copies of the anti-Islamic movie since the appellate court ordered it taken down Feb. 26, with 20 employees spending more than 100 hours on the process, Hogan Lovells partner Neal Katyal wrote in opposition to Cindy Lee Garcia's March 25 motion for sanctions.

Garcia and her attorney, M. Cris Armenta, argue that Google "has not even made a pro forma attempt to comply with the order," disabling only a few copies and leaving in their place a "snide message."

Facebook Joins Google In The Hunt For The Future

Posted  by

Facebook Joins Google In The Hunt For TheĀ Future
We now live in an era when Mark Zuckerberg speed-dials Obama, controls fleets of drones, brokers $19 billion acquisitions in a week, and buys whole virtual worlds. Facebook’s mission has changed. While once it was solely “to make the world more open and connected”, it’s expanded to also “give people the power to share.” And nothing is too crazy if it brings Facebook one step closer to that goal.
If you squint, the strategy looks a lot like the mantra of Facebook’s early days, “Move fast and break things,” but on a much more grandiose scale. Back in the 2000s, Facebook wasn’t afraid to launch sweeping new features like News Feed to the entire user base at once or overhaul privacy without warning, even if it had to apologize and back-track.
