The Legendary Beretta 93R ! @Armed

Posted by  on April 17, 2015 at 5:04 pm

Larry Vickers recently got his hands on a very rare and special machine pistol that Beretta developed for special operations use from the 92 series of pistols. You’ll note that the version Larry fires has a different compensator that the 93R we were allowed to handle (but not shoot) at a recent writer’s event with Beretta.

#PJNET #Obama's Anti-Gun AG Nominee is Close to Defeat

Three months ago, the lapdog media was convinced that the confirmation of Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch was a "slam dunk."  Now, not so much.
Lynch, as you may remember, has been characterized as "Eric Holder in a skirt."  She committed, under oath, to continue to push Holder's unconstitutional anti-gun executive amnesty.  She is in favor of a semi-auto ban, which should be of interest at a time when the Justice Department is using every means possible to ban semi-autos by executive fiat.
In addition, when asked about the central pillar of Barack Obama's anti-gun push -- the universal background check/gun registry -- she claimed not to really know anything about it.  Which leads to one of two conclusions:  Either Lynch is a liar and a perjurer or she is far too ignorant to be Attorney General.
Lynch's nomination is particularly pivotal because she is viewed as being groomed to be the fifth anti-gun vote on the U.S. Supreme Court, replacing either Anthony Kennedy or Antonin Scalia. Of course, if Lynch were to be confirmed to the court -- riding on the wings of her AG confirmation -- both Heller and McDonald would be overturned.  The Second Amendment, as far as the courts are concerned, would be a nullity.
So what's the status?  Contrary to the press's expectations, Lynch's vote count in the Senate is still stuck at 50/50.  Right now, there are almost ten Senators who are either on the fence, or are in favor of Lynch (when they should be opposing Lynch).
Here is that target list of Senators who could use extra prodding:
  • Jeff Flake (R-AZ)
  • Michael Bennet (D-CO)
  • Mark Kirk (R-IL)
  • Susan Collins (R-ME)
  • Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND)
  • Dean Heller (R-NV)
  • Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
  • Orrin Hatch (R-UT)
  • Joe Manchin (D-WV)
If you get a chance to attend a Town Hall meeting with any Senator -- but especially with those listed above -- please urge them to oppose the Loretta Lynch nomination

STOP #OBAMA ILLEGAL #AMMO BAN !!!

The Obama Administration
Wants To BAN Your AR-15 Ammo

Dear Gun Owner,
We are in the fight of our lives!
The White House and President Obama is pulling no punches and it doesn’t look like they’re ready to back down ... unless ... YOU make them!
As you probably know, the ATF has a proposal out to ban one of the most common forms of AR-15 ammo. And until now, the White House has not commented on it.
But now they have, and the message is clear:
Just look at what the President’s top spoke person said on Monday, March 2, 2015:
“We are looking at additional ways to protect our brave men and women in law enforcement and believe this process is valuable for that reason alone,"
The White House press secretary went on to say ...
"This seems to be an area where everyone should agree: If there are armor-piercing bullets available that can fit into easily concealed weapons, that puts our law enforcement at considerably more risk. I'd put this in the category of common-sense steps our government can take."
In other words ...
The President Is Doing His Best To BAN Your Access to Cheap, Reliable AR-15 Ammunition!
... and the White house is trying desperately to get clueless Americans and the main stream media to go along with it by saying it’s for “police safety”.
But I know you are not that dumb, and you won’t fall for their tricks!
The truth is:
Because the President couldn’t get Congress to pass any new gun control laws (what he called the “biggest frustration” of his Presidency!), He will now do everything in his power to use executive actions and other political foul play to move AROUND congress.
Don’t let this happen!
Show the gun grabbers at the ATF you mean business. Show the White House that we are not a nation of sheep ... we are not slaves ... we are not colonists who you can disarm at will ... let’s show them that this is OUR country!

Gun Test: Winchester SXP Marine Defender 12-Gauge

By John Taffin, GUNS Magazine
Self-defense means, well, defense of self. It does not mean self-offense nor does it mean lawnmower-defense. Self-defense is protecting self and family against death and/or serious injury. As much as we may be angered at someone stealing a lawnmower from our property, shooting in such a case is not self-defense. You could buy 1,000 lawnmowers for the cost of a defense attorney for shooting when self-defense is not involved. Keep the shotgun loaded, stay in the house and call 9-1-1. Self-defense begins if home intrusion takes place, and the noise of a pump shotgun being activated is not something intruders want to hear.
I always have a handgun close at hand, however, there is also a shotgun or two handy and my latest choice is the new Winchester 12-gauge pump shotgun, the SXP Marine Defender. The “SXP” stands for Super-X Pump. This latest Winchester pump shotgun is produced in Istanbul and imported by Browning.
The name does not refer to it being used by the United States Marines but rather being able to be carried on a boat without worrying about rust. The main components are chosen for this with the buttstock and forearm being a black synthetic, the receiver a black coated alloy and the barrel and magazine tube finished in a matte hard chrome as is the interior of the barrel.

Welcome To Arizona - Phoenix Gun owner stops robbery, kills dirt bag

bank robbery
A spilled bin of cash and other items remain at one of the multiple crime scenes outside a Phoenix bank where a business owner shot and killed one of two bank robbers Wednesday.
A Phoenix business owner saw a bank robbery beginning to unfold in the strip mall where he works and decided to take action to defend his neighbors. He grabbed his own gun, snatched the keys from the robber’s still running and undefended car, and laid in wait for the robbers as they left the store, toting a bin full of cash.
When they suspects emerged, the business owner opened fire.
Two armed suspects wearing masks entered the Desert Schools Credit Union near Cactus and Tatum around 3 p.m. and attempted to rob it, police said. A witness then opened fire on the suspects. It is not known if the suspects returned fire.
Authorities said one of the suspects was shot and transported to a local hospital where he died. The second suspect fled the bank and stole a vehicle from someone at gunpoint, damaging several cars as he fled.

Concealed-weapons applicants say they want protection

BY MITCH DUDEK Staff Reporter January 24, 2014 9:52PM

Abi Maldonado wants to carry a gun because he’s regularly sent to high-crime neighborhoods to fix broken automated teller machines. “The money is insured; I don’t care about the money, I just want to go home, that’s pretty much what it comes down to,” he said.
Jay Kinzie wants to be prepared, just in case his martial arts skills aren’t enough to fend off anyone who’d choose to do him harm.

“When I think of carrying a firearm, to me, it’s an insurance policy; it’s like a fire extinguisher, a spare tire or a smoke detector,” he said..
