February 13, 2014 (BURBANK, Ill.) -- A southwest suburban man who died Monday is Cook County's 20th cold-related death of the season.
Elieser DeJesus, 79, died at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 9:48 a.m. on Monday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
DeJesus, who lived in the 8600 block of Mansfield Avenue in Burbank, died of complications of hypothermia, cold exposure, and coronary artery disease, an autopsy Wednesday found. His death was ruled an accident.
Burbank police were not immediately available for comment.
