Here's what happens when you interrupt tortoise #SEX !!!

You don't want to mess with mating tortoises unless you're a very...average runner. In fact, you don't have to run at all — to escape a raging tortoise's wrath, all you have to do is sort of slowly stroll away.

This is exactly what happened to explorer Paul Rose, who interrupted the mating pair of giant tortoises on an island in the Seychelles. What happens next, as documented in a National Geographic video, is quite comical. The male tortoise tries to chase Rose away from its territory at full speed — which, by our estimate, is 100 about meters per hour.

CA Judges Having Sex in Chambers

A state judicial commission said on Tuesday that two California judges have been censured for having sex in their respective chambers. One judge had sex with his clerk, the other had sex with multiple women. The events are separate as the judges are in separate courts and are located in difference parts of the state. 

One judge was from Orange County.

Orange County Superior Court Judge Scott Steiner was censured by the state Commission on Judicial Performance for engaging in sexual activity in his chambers on multiple occasions with women. The commission called it "the height of irresponsible and improper" behavior.

"It reflects an utter disrespect for the dignity and decorum of the court, and is seriously at odds with a judge’s duty to avoid conduct that tarnishes the esteem of the judicial office in the public’s eye," the commission said in a written order."

According to a new report that looks at how continuing improvements to artificial intelligence and robotics will impact society, “robotic sex partners will become commonplace” by 2025. A large portion of the report also focuses on how AI and robotics will impact both blue- and white-collar workers, with about 50% of the polled experts stating that robots will displace more human jobs than they create by 2025.

The report, called “AI, Robotics, and the Future of Jobs” and published by Pew Research, is a 66-page monster [PDF]. The report basically consists of a bunch of experts waxing lyrical about what the world will look like in 2025 if robots and AI continue to advance at the same scary pace of the last few years. Almost every expert agreed that robots and AI will no longer be constrained to repetitive tasks on a production line, and will permeate “wide segments of daily life by 2025.” The experts are almost perfectly split on whether these everyday robots will be a boon or a menace to society, though — but more on that at the end of the story.

A new report says an alarming number of Disney World employees have been arrested in recent years for alleged child sex offences.

Thanks to tactics similar to ones used on TVs To Catch a Predator, law enforcement officials have snared at least 35 employees at the family destination since 2006. One worker was accused of watching child porn while on the job, according to The Daily Mail citing a CNN investigation.

The latest round of arrests last week netted another 13 suspects, including four who at some point worked at the sprawling Magic Kingdom.

Married Couple’s Phone Sex Did Not Force Divorce Clock to Reset

If a married couple, living apart, engages in phone sex, are they still separated? This question was crucial to Nick Bergeris’s quest for divorce because he filed on grounds of a 12-month separation (a legal ground for divorce in Maryland) that was free of in-person sex, but not free of phone sex. He was denied the divorce by the trial court, but that ruling was recently reversed on appeal. Did the court get it right?

Bergeris v. Bergeris: The Marriage and the Separation

Nick and Jeanine Bergeris married in Maryland in 2006. In June 2010, Jeanine sought and received a restraining order against Nick, which led him to move out. After the order expired six months later, the couple continued to reside in separate residences. They did resume an intermittent sexual relationship, but that ended as well in March 2011. After that time, the parties never spent a night under the same roof and never had in-person intimate contact. But the wife argues, and the husband concedes, that they communicated via telephone calls and text messages that “were of an explicit or provocative sexual nature.”
