There’s a simple way to stop President Obama from using executive orders to advance his radical agenda, and it’s not wielding “the power of the purse,” as the Republican congressional leadership contends.

The issue is on the front-burner as Obama – expressing frustration with the lack of legislative movement on “immigration reform” – has defiantly vowed to issue an executive order that would allow up to 5 million illegal aliens avoid deportation.

Savage argues Republican have threatened to use the “power of the purse” before, and Obama has moved right ahead. The president issued, for example, an executive order in 2012 that effectively implemented his DREAM Act plan allowing young illegal aliens to remain in the U.S. indefinitely.

Savage told his listeners the new Republican-majority Congress has a weapon at its disposal, if it only is willing to deploy it.

“If the executive order is based on a statute, Congress can change the statute, thereby nullifying the order,” Savage said.

AZ SHERIFF: FEDS REFUSE TO GIVE US NAMES OF RELEASED CRIMINAL ALIENS

Pinal County, AZ Sheriff Paul Babeu reported that that federal government “refuses” to give him the names of illegal aliens who commit crimes in the US and are released on Wednesday’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on the Fox News Channel.

Babeu said that “law enforcement in many cases have let these criminals go even when there's an outstanding hold or a warrant for them from immigration [officials].” And “what we've had happened right here in my county, there were hundreds of convicted criminals that were released right here. There are thousands including California, Georgia, and Texas, and to this day the federal government refuses to tell us their names…there’s no consequences for all of these criminals. They're back out on the street and the federal government will refuse to give us these names because they know we can then connect thousands of these criminals who the federal government once held in custody and then released them.”

LEAKED DHS REPORT REVEALS 13 FOREIGN SUSPECTED TERRORISTS ILLEGALLY ENTERED CANADA FROM US

LUBBOCK, Texas — At least 13 men from Africa with terrorist-related records illegally entered Canada from the U.S. since 2010, according to a leaked Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Intelligence Information Report exclusively obtained by Breitbart Texas. The data pertains only to one small region of the vast U.S.-Canadian border. The report reveals that as of September 9, 2014, there have been 155 encounters in the area “involving 344 ethnic Somalis, 21 ethnic Ethiopians, five ethnic Kenyans, two ethnic Djiboutians, two ethnic Nigerians, and one ethnic Sudanese and Congolese subjects who have attempted or succeeded in entering Canada illegally near the Pembina, ND Port of Entry (POE) since June 2010. These encounters INCLUDE 13 SUBJECTS WITH TERRORIST-RELATED RECORDS [Emphasis Added] who have utilized this method of circumventing designated POEs.”

The report lists several ethnic Somalis who have U.S. addresses and official Alien Registration Numbers issued by the U.S. government, who the report indicates are either included, or should be included, into the Terrorist Screening Database. The subjects’ addresses span from Southern California to Ohio.

Though much of the report is based upon human intelligence and a source, the data pertaining to the apprehensions and crossings is verifiable and taken directly from the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) database, according to the document and to the source of the leaked report. That source, a federal agent in the CBP, provided the document and spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity.

Deadly insect found in L.A. endemic to Central America

Did illegal aliens from Central America bring with them an aggressive mosquito just discovered in California that is a known transmitter of debilitating and possibly deadly viruses?

Both the mosquito itself and many of the viruses that can be transmitted by the insect are endemic to Central America and have been found in Mexico.

The yellow fever mosquitoes were found Oct. 7 and 8 in the Los Angeles counties of Commerce and Pico Rivera, as the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.

The mosquito, also known by its scientific name, Aedes aegypti, is an insect capable of spreading dengue fever, chikungunya, yellow fever viruses and other diseases.

Susanne Kluh, director of scientific-technical services for the Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District, told the Times that while the “debilitating viruses, so far, aren’t locally transmitted in L.A. County, the mosquitoes that can transmit them are now here.”

Ebola Pandemic coming from Southern Border

(CNSNews.com) – Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly, commander of the U.S. Southern Command, predicted last week that the Ebola virus will not be contained in West Africa, and if infected people flee those countries and spread the disease to Central and South America, it could cause “mass migration into the United States” of those seeking treatment.

“If it breaks out, it’s literally, ‘Katie bar the door,’ and there will be mass migration into the United States,” Kelly said in remarks to the National Defense University on Tuesday. “They will run away from Ebola, or if they suspect they are infected, they will try to get to the United States for treatment.

“The potential spread of Ebola into Central and Southern America is a real possibility,” the article written about the general’s speech and posted on the Department of Defense website on Wednesday stated.

In his speech, Kelly cited the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s prediction that 1.4 million people could be infected with Ebola by the end of the year, with 62 percent of those infected dying from the disease.

(CNSNews.com) – Some 9,862 aliens apprehended by agencies falling under the Department of Homeland Security in fiscal year 2013 came from 15 countries that are either state sponsors of terrorism, considered terrorist safe havens or have otherwise been associated with terrorism in recent years.

The vast majority of these came from three countries in the Western Hemisphere – Cuba (2,809 apprehensions), Venezuela (2,712) and Colombia (1,987), according to newly-released DHS Office of Immigration Statistics data.

Cuba is one of four U.S.-designated state sponsor of terrorism, while Venezuela and Colombia are deemed terrorist safe havens.

The latest State Department annual report on terrorism cites “credible reports that Venezuela maintained an environment that allowed for fundraising activities that benefited known terrorist groups. Individuals linked to Hezbollah as well as [left-wing Colombian terrorist groups] FARC and ELN members were present in Venezuela.”

BORDER PATROL AGENT SAYS ISIS in U.S. NOW!

A U.S. Border Patrol agent in Arizona claims he was privy to classified intelligence that proves terrorists have infiltrated the homeland from Mexico.  

Border agent Art Del Cueto, who heads the national union for border patrol agents Local 2544 in Tucson, made those comments in an interview with Public Radio International (PRI) that aired September 24.  

While walking a section of the Arizona-Mexico border, Del Cueto told PRI that the area is susceptible to Islamic terrorist crossings, adding that classified U.S. Border Patrol intelligence verifies that some have successfully infiltrated the U.S .    

"The intel we have is hard evidence. It’s very hard evidence. It’s pictures. It’s debriefings of individuals,” the agent told PRI.

NY Dems distance themselves from illegal immigrant legislation

WASHINGTON — Tens of thousands of young families caught crossing the border illegally earlier this year subsequently failed to meet with federal immigration agents, as they were instructed, the Homeland Security Department has acknowledged privately.

An official with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement revealed that about 70 percent of immigrant families the Obama administration had released into the US never showed up weeks later for follow-up appointments.

The ICE official made the disclosure in a confidential meeting at its Washington headquarters with immigration advocates participating in a federal working group on detention and enforcement policies.
