The pest control company Orkin has named Chicago as America's 'rattiest' city,according to a report.
The company based the rankings on the number of rodent-treatments it performed in each city last year. Chicago topped the list, followed by LA, Washington DC, New York, and San Francisco .
The ranking was based on the amount of times Orkin performed rodent treatments in major cities. ChicagoBusiness.com reported that Chicago, in the past, has gained the top spots from most bedbug infestations for two straight years.
Earlier in the year, a city leader who called the rat problem “out of control,” proposed a bait that renders a female rat sterile.
