Top Democrats used an unusual social media strategy to convince Millennials to sign up for health insurance Thursday — one led by Vice President Joe Biden.

Biden posted a nostalgic #tbt image of himself at 26 and shared his thoughts on button-down shirts:

The message? Under the Affordable Care Act, young people stay on their parents' health insurance plans until the age of 26. So if you were born in 1988, it's time to think about getting your own plan

Judicial Watch Obtains 106-Page HHS Document Revealing Scope of Obamacare Rollout Disaster

HHS records reveal that Obamacare received only one enrollment on first day of operation; 48% of registrations failed on second day 

Correction:  “…the Obamacare website had 70,000 page views but only 5,000 were unique visitors” corrected to “…the Obamacare website had 70 million page views but only 5 million were unique visitors”.

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released a 106-page document obtained on May 1 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), revealing that on its first full day of operation, October 1, 2013, Obamacare’s Healthcare.gov received only one enrollment. The document, obtained in response to a November 25, 2013, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against HHS, also reveals that on the second day of Healthcare.gov operation, 48% of registrations failed (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (No. 1:13-cv-01855)).

I signed up when they called me, and selected Blue Cross as my PCP since I am famaliar with the excellent coverage that they have always provided.

Six weeks later I got a package that weighed about four pounds, covering all aspects of the program.  

I was told I'd recieve an ID Card in two weeks and I'm still waiting three weeks later.

On New Year’s Eve, Justice Sonia Sotomayor granted a temporary injunction against the enforcement of the contraceptive coverage requirements of the regulations implementing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (commonly known as Obamacare). Although it implicates a broader set of issues, for now the injunction only applies with respect to the plaintiffs in Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Aged v. Sebelius—nuns who run a Denver hospice and argue that providing contraceptive health insurance for their employees would violate their religious beliefs. They thus contend that, under the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), they are entitled to an exemption.

Healthcare.gov ‘may already have been compromised,’ security expert says

Not only is healthcare.gov at risk, it may already have been compromised, a security expert testified before the Senate.

“Hackers are definitely after it,” said David Kennedy, CEO of information security firm TrustedSEC before a House Science, Space, and Technology committee hearing on security concerns surrounding the problematic Healthcare.gov website.
