Talk host urges taking Trump's idea a step further

When Donald Trump was asked at the CNN Republican primary debate to clarify his call to close down parts of the Internet to thwart ISIS, the front-running candidate emphasized collaborating with the country’s best tech entrepreneurs and talent.

Talk-radio host Michael Savage told his listeners Wednesday he agrees with Trump, but he would take it a step further, advocating a military draft focused on information-technology workers.

“I wouldn’t get our brilliant people (together) and ask them to do it,” he said. “I would require them to do it.”

Savage called for a “Selective Selective Service” that “targets IT workers who can go to work for the government as hackers to take down ISIS websites, al-Qaida websites.”

“And then we need programmers to program positive information for the youth of America, to make them love the country again and want to help the country again,” he said.

“And then you’re going to be involved in a cyber war that you might win.”

During the debate Tuesday night in Las Vegas, Trump recommended bringing together “brilliant people from Silicon Valley and other places and figure out a way that ISIS can not do what they’re doing.”

“I don’t want them using our Internet,” Trump said.

Savage noted that the “buccaneers of the Internet fortunes – Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Bill Gates of Microsoft, Larry Ellison of Oracle – they’re brilliant people, very successful.”

They’ve made billions off of the Internet, which was launched by the government and developed with federal funding, Savage pointed out.

But unlike the Obama administration, he doesn’t want to use that as justification to take more of their money.

Instead, the tech world can contribute directly to the war on terror.

“There’s a lot of things they could be doing that they’re not doing in this war on terror,” Savage said.

He said an incident last week made him wonder which side Facebook’s Zuckerberg is on in the “war against Islamofascism.”

As WND reported, Facebook censored a post on Savage’s page on the social media website that featured photographs of Muslim protesters holding signs threatening beheading and death for “those who insult Islam.”

Facebook has not explained why it deleted the post, but it provided a link to its “Community Standards” page, which lists “hate speech” as one of its prohibitions, along with “violence and graphic content,” and nudity.

Messages in placards held up by the London demonstrators included “Behead those who insult Islam,” “Freedom go to hell,” “Europe. Take some lessons from 9/11″ and “Be prepared for the real Holocaust.”

On his show Wednesday, Savage said Facebook “censored me, why don’t they censor the Islamofascists?”

“Which side is Zuckerberg on?”

Savage reiterated the government “needs to have a special draft – not a generalized draft, because we don’t need everyone.”

“I think they need to draft computer experts into the military, tomorrow.”

Refugees move to a church

Necessity is the mother of invention – and flexibility: a Protestant community offers the city of Oberhausen a church to serve as shelter. Soon shall 50 refugees move into the church. Before that, benches and altar are thrown out.

The sanitary facilities with washing machines will be put in containers next to the church. The church even wants to get involved in taking care of the refugees.

The Islamic State is sending hit squads into Syrian refugee camps to kill Christians. The strategy is part of a larger commitment to wipe out Christianity, according to a former Islamic State jihadi, who was sent to a refugee camp but changed his mind about his mission. 
Witnesses to the murders are afraid to speak out for fear they will be targeted next.
One aid worker, quoted by the Sunday Express, said, "They're like a mafia. People are even killed inside the camps, and the refugees are afraid to say if they saw somebody get killed. If you ask them, they'll say, 'I don't know, I was asleep'."
The jihadi squads are also kidnapping Christian girls and selling them into sex slavery.
"The last time I went inside a camp, I had a policeman with me,' said the aid worker. "The camps are dangerous because they have IS, Iraqi militias and Syrian militias. It's another place for gangs. They're killing inside the camps, and they're buying and selling ladies and even girls."
In September, Lebanese Education Minister Elias Bou Saab estimated 20,000 Islamic State radicals had infiltrated the Syrian refugees camps and were planning to get into Europe with the stream of refugees.
“My gut feeling is they [the Islamic State] are facilitating such an operation. To go to Europe and other places ... From Turkey to Greece,” Saab said. “You may have, let’s say, 2% [of the 1.1 million] that could be radicals. That is more than enough. We have had that also with our camps here - you find 2-3% of them.”
Saab also noted that refugees from Syria were arriving that didn’t look like normal refugees. “They are all dressed with something unified, uniform, vests," he said.
Since 2003, 1,800 Christians have been butchered by Islamist terrorists with another 100,000 fleeing Mosul, Iraq when the Islamic State took over the city in June 2014.

The West won’t lift a finger to do this. Archbishop Jeanbart, the Melkite Greek Catholic Archbishop of Aleppo, should ask his colleagues in the West why they are sacrificing his people to the golden calf of “dialogue” and silencing and ostracizing those who speak honestly about why his people are being persecuted. He should ask some of his confident fellow bishops from the U.S. to go over to Syria and explain to the Islamic State jihadis how they’re misunderstanding their peaceful religion.

These craven bishops share the responsibility for what is being done to Archbishop Jeanbart’s people.

A report on Christians oppressed for their faith 2013-15,” produced by the Catholic charity, Aid to the Church in Need. He described how the Islamic State has been systematically destroying his nation through massacre and destruction, and undermining it through the suppression of basic human rights and freedom.

“The country has been in a flood of blood. They have destroyed our economy, our industry, our churches, everything,” he said.

“We suffer a lot, but the thing that we are suffering most from is that they are taking away our right to be and our right to choose what we want to be,” he said.

Jeanbart said that freedom of religion is crucial for this fight. People must be free to choose their faith with no fear of repercussions, and no one should be condemned because of his faith.

The Archbishop also enumerated some of the recent brutality they have suffered at the hands of the Islamic State, noting that in the last month alone, 50 Christians have been killed, “many of them savagely executed by ISIS.”

“Just a few days ago three of our faithful were kidnapped by ISIL and huge ransoms demanded,” he said. “We tried to found a way to let them go but it was impossible, so they beheaded them.”…

According to the report, Christianity is fated to disappear from Iraq “possibly within five years” unless the international community offer substantial assistance to the persecuted faithful there.

NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News) – Islamists upset by a Christian-Muslim debate are suspected in the killing of a long-time evangelist in eastern Uganda who led many Muslims to Christ, sources said.

The mutilated body of Samson Nfunyeku was found close to his home in Kalampete village, Kibuku District early on Sept. 23, after the latest in a series of organized debates with Islamic scholars at Tirinyi Trading Center ended prematurely due to flaring tempers the previous night. He was 59.

At a previous debate, also sponsored by Nfunyeku’s Church of Uganda and other churches, Muslim leaders had threatened him and warned him to hold no more debates, a source said.

“Four months ago Samson and others had a very hot debate at Tirinyi Trading Center with the Muslim scholars that ended on a bad note, and they gave warning that such debates were not good for the Muslims,” said one of the participants, a former sheikh (Islamic teacher) who became a Christian.

Nevertheless, another debate was held on Sept. 22 with few in attendance, said the source, whose name is withheld for security purposes. The debate ended at about 5:30 p.m., and as the trading center is about seven kilometers (four miles) from Kalampete, colleagues estimated Nfunyeku was killed between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

He had head injuries and a mark on his neck indicating he was strangled, they said.

Nfunyeku was a lay leader who boldly proclaimed Christ in house-to-house visits and at evangelistic events for more than 30 years. Loved ones showed strong emotion at his burial on Sept. 25 in Kalampete, sources said.

“We are going to miss the courage and passion seen in the life of Samson, who was out to win Muslims for Christ,” Gauma Samuel of the Church of Uganda’s Budaka Archdeaconry said at his funeral service.

Nfunyeku is survived by seven children and 16 grandchildren.

“They need prayers in this moment of mourning,” a source said.

Converts from Islam to Christianity in eastern Uganda have recently experienced regular instances of persecution. A Muslim in Nsinze village, Namutumba District beat and left for dead his wife and 18-year-old son on Aug. 11 after learning they had converted to Christianity, area sources said.

Issa Kasoono beat and strangled his wife, Jafalan Kadondi, but she survived, said a source who requested anonymity. He said other relatives joined Kasoono in beating her and their two sons, Ibrahim Kasoono, 18, and Ismael Feruza, 16, though the younger son managed to escape with only bruises on his arm.

The wife of a former sheikh was poisoned to death on June 17 after she and her husband put their faith in Christ in Nabuli village, Kibuku District. Namumbeiza Swabura was the mother of 11 children, including a 5-month-old baby.

In Kiryolo, Kaderuna Sub-County, Budaka District on March 28, five Muslims gang-raped the 17-year-old daughter of a pastor because the church leader ignored their warnings that he stop worship services, she said….
